I am so proud of you! Graduating top of your class and with a smile that beamed little brother. I cannot wait to see what life has in store for you. I can already see it, your face carved into the mountain alongside Grandfather and Granduncle. Of course whatever happens Nawaki, if you change your dream I will always support you.

Know that our family is so proud of all we do. The legacy of our clan is based around helping other, working towards peace. Together we can achieve that. I remember when you first mentioned your dream to me. You were still a child but the brightness in your eyes made me believe that anything was possible. Now you are a Genin, already marking your path for greatness and the destiny that awaits you.

Christmas was always an interesting time within the Senju home. Usually it was just her, Nawaki, and their Grandmother constantly going in and out of the home. Jiraiya and Orochimaru were often over too. So when the idea of a secret Santa among them was brought up Tsunade was weary somewhat. She knew in the end it would be in all good fun and enjoyable but that didn’t mean she still didn’t have doubts about it. But still seeing her family light up at the suggest she couldn’t help but agree.

And so there they were on Christmas morning. All of them huddled around the open room with a roaring fire. Gifts were exchanged and then the secret Santa gifts were left. All wrapped in the same beautiful silvery packaging and all different sizes. Neat handwriting of Grandmother Mito was written on them, already figuring out which gift belonged to who.

With the gifts passed out little note was left on each. Giving a very, very small hint to who present was from. And when she read her hint giggle after giggle left her. Three matching glances looked her way with raised brows. She waved her hand at them. Someone you’ve know for 6+ years. Oh her grandmother was sly as a fox. As she thougt over who it could be Tsunade ripped open the gift pulling out a painting. She gasped. Immediately her eyes glanced towards Nawaki. He was the only one who had this picture...unless...unless? A shake of her head. No Nawaki wouldn’t have given it to either of them.

     Guests were a rather rare occurance, but Hikari could tell      with all certainty, that the person who entered her room was      not a member of her family. She could always tell them apart,      by the way they stepped and the way they moved, if it was one      of her daughers or her husband. This time, she had a really hard      time identifying the footsteps, so she furrowed her eyebrows a little.

                        “ Forgive me if I don’t get up to greet you. “

Tsunade flushed as she cuddled with Jiraiya.

“You took so long coming home.” She hummed out annoyed. “I was lonely.”

"Sorry, I won’t leave you alone for long."
