we all know angel is a mean bitch and a bully at times, but this scenario has been the only one so far where this has tipped over into him being a genuine villain. it took an ugly mixture of grief, freedom, righteous anger at vox's past abuse of him and misdirected anger at val's abuse that he never fully got to express. and, trust me, he is nasty.
