JEALOUS, JEALOUS BOY
based on the request
jace is impulsive, quick to burn. his blood runs hot, fierce, and unyielding. he is everything a real targaryen means.Â
he speaks before he thinks. acts before he weighs the cost.
but he is a prince. a loving prince. and princes are seldom free from the weight of expectation.
jace tries. he truly. to be the prince they need him to be.
and then he sees you smile at some stranger, some lordling who arrived with the morning mist and will leave just as quietly, forgotten, his name never to be inscribed in any chronicle worth reading. something in jaceâs chest catches fire. he blinks, once, twice, hoping his eyes have deceived him. it would be almost laughable, almost endearing. if only that smug lord would stop regaling you with tales, his eyes alight with such eager interest that it turns jaceâs stomach.
he is a prince. he must hold steady. the thought spins through jaceâs mind.
and so he does. he keeps his promise to himself, masters the art of wilful blindness. when his gaze finds yours across the crowded hall, he smiles as if nothing in the world is amiss. gentle. kind. you would never guess the turmoil coiling beneath his skin. everything is perfectly fine.
but the moment the feast is over, jace is gone, striding swiftly, almost fleeing, back to his solitude. and later, if you happen to look up, you will only catch the distant shadow of vermaxâs wings against the fading sky.
he doesn't return until you're already tucked beneath the sheets, the fire burned low and the candles guttering. he's still simmering with that same quiet irritation, though he tries so very hard to be composed, courteous. every inch the prince he was raised to be.
but you know him. you know him so well that you catch the faint, taut edges beneath his calm, the way his jaw works just a little too tightly.
"jace⊠what's wrong?" you pull the blanket up to your nose, chasing away the chill that sweeps into the chamber the moment the door swings open.
he steps inside, fingers already working at the buckles of his dragon-riding leathers with hurried, almost restless movements. "oh, nothing," he says, barely glancing your way, offering only a thin, strained smile.
he tries so hard.
you roll your eyes, pushing yourself upright against the pillows. "jace." your voice firms, carrying an edge he knows well. "you know i hate it when you keep things from me. it's infuriating."
something in his resolve crumbles. he sinks onto the edge of the bed beside you. your words alone have that power over him as if he's a hound well-trained to heel at the mere sound of your command.
your hand finds his, giving it a gentle, reassuring squeeze. one brow lifts in silent question.
jace exhales heavily, as though bracing to confess some shameful secret. "i simply⊠didn't care for the way you spoke with that lord tonight." the words come out clipped, and almost at once, his gaze drops, a flush of embarrassment creeping across his cheeks.
you let out a soft laugh, shifting closer until you can cup his freckled face in both your hands. "jace, you absolute fool." your thumbs trace the hollows of his cheeks. "but i love you anyway."
you tilt his face toward yours and press a quick, fleeting kiss to his lips.

"So, that's your brilliant idea? To give away your only daughter to this absolute monster?" Jacaery's angry voice echoed the walls of Dragonstone. The rain pelted against the windows, it was already late at night and Rhanerya was still working behind her desk. Until her oldest son interrupted her.
"That's what the king wishes to happen, Jace. He believes the marriage will reunite our families." She said simply, already tired of this conversation.
"With the cost of her own happiness?" Jace started walking towards her, the candle light catches his face.
"It's marriage, Jace." Rhanerya snapped. "A political duty to strengthen our house. I didn't have a choice either, a lot of people don't have a say in this matter."
"Well, you quickly find your way out of your marriage." He said with a scoff.
Rhaenyra's breath hitched at this sudden strike. "Jace, don't start this conversation again." She said in a low, steady voice.
"Aemond thinks we're bastards. He even thinks this about her, even though she inherited the Valyrian look. He's been teasing us about this since we were kids, and this never stopped. You think now this will change?"
"And you think we can prevent war, just like that?" She stood up, her jaw and fists were clenched.
He didn't say a word, just shook his head and looked at his feet with disbelief. How could she do this? Marry his sweet girl off to the Greens? She belonged to him. Her body, her soul. They were destined to be with each other.
Rhaenyra like she was reading his mind walked up to her first born and grabbed his shoulders. "I know you thought I would marry her off to you... but she's your sister, maybe it's better to keep your relationship this way?"
He didn't look at her. He couldn't. "Your grace" he said before bowing slightly and leaving this goddamn room.
Rhaenyra had no idea that your relationship now was far from 'being only siblings'. Only Daemon knew, but he knew everything. He saw when you two showed up late for dinner. Hair still messy and lips swollen from making out somewhere in the corner of Dragonstone. But he didn't say a word, only smirked like he always did. He saw when Jace sneaked out to your chambers late at night, and then he heard muffled moans and gasps filling your bedroom. But he never said a word to his wife.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next evening Jace wanted to visit you. He made a signal during breakfast. He tapped your foot under the table and gave you the look: I'll come visit you today. After fulfilling his duties he didn't make his way to his chambers, but to yours. It was already late and the moon started shining across the dark sky.
Jacaerys knocked on the door 3 times. This way you knew it was him. It was always three times. Three squeezes of your hand during council, meaning three words 'i love you'. Three kisses on your face: Two on your eyelids and one peck on your lips. Like you were something sacred.
That was how he had always treated you. To him, you were someone truly extraordinary. The fact that, out of all your siblings, only you possessed the unmistakable features of House Targaryen only reinforced his belief. He always said he thought you had been blessed by the gods themselves.
âSince childhood, Jacaerys had always been fiercely protective and possessive of you. He never allowed other boys to touch you or even speak to you without his watchful eye. To him, you were someone to be cherishedâhe practically worshipped the very ground you walked on.
âHe constantly admired your grace, your spirit, and the way you carried yourself with quiet confidence. What he loved most was that you always knew your worth. You understood that Targaryens were not like other people. They set themselves apart not only through their striking appearance, but also through the dragons they rode.
âAnd now? His mother expected him to simply accept giving you away to another man? He had always believed the two of you were destined to be together. Two siblings, meant to rule the realm side by side. The future King and Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.
âIn his mind, the Targaryen line was always meant to continue through you and the children you would have together.
You opened the door, only a few inches for him to walk in. You looked past him to see if the hall was clear, if nobody was watching. He closed the door with his back and looked at you. His eyes shining with darkness and urgency.
"I spoke to mother. Her decision is final."
"I didn't expect her to change her mind anyway.." His lips crashed against yours with quite urgency. He wrapped his arms around your waist to pull you closer, so now there's no space between the two of you.
"If she refuses to change her decision..." he murmured, breaking the kiss just long enough to brush his thumb gently across your lower lip. "Then I will."
You had no idea what he meantâor what he was planning to do. For the first time, you found yourself at a loss for words.
He simply looked at you, his gaze lingering as though he were committing every detail of your face to memory. Then, without another word, he leaned in and kissed you again, deeper than before. "Lay on the bed." He murmured.
You obeyed, settling comfortably against the pillows. He lowered himself over you, supporting his weight on his elbows so he wouldn't crush you beneath him.
"You're mine," he murmured, his lips brushing against the soft skin of your neck before he nipped at it gently, drawing a quiet, breathy moan from your lips. His fingers moved to the laces of your gown, slowly loosening them. "And no one is going to change that."
He removed your garment first, taking his time as though he wanted to savor every moment. His gaze lingered over every inch of your skinâa sight he had admired countless times before.
Then you helped him out of his own tunic and underclothes, sharing lingering kisses after each piece of clothing was discarded. Soon, your garments lay scattered across the floor, and your eyes were drawn to his hard, already leaking length.
"Be a good sister and lie on your stomach," he whispered against your ear after you had wrapped your hand around him and given him a few slow strokes.
Without hesitation, you did exactly as he asked, settling onto your stomach.
"Jaceâ" The word dissolved into the pillow as his fingers found their way inside you, slow and deliberate. Your breath caught. "Gods, already so wet for me." His lips brushed the curve of your ear.
His chest was solid against your back, his weight anchoring you to the mattress as his fingers began to move. "Are you alright?" He asked, his voice strained.
"Mhmm" That's the only muffled sound you were able to make. You didn't trust your voice to speak full sentences.
"Lift your hips for me, my love." You obeyed with a loud groan, this angle making his fingers slide into you even deeper. "That's right, so perfect."
You felt his thumb circling your clit. This spot was so sensitive, that even a slight brush of his fingers made you twitch with need.
"Jacaerys I-" Your words were caught in your throat when he applied even more pressure, his movements quicker.
"It's alright. Are you close, sister?" His fingers curved right back into the deepest part of you.
"Yes, Gods." You heard your voice trembling. He diabolically removed his fingers out of you and stopped his movements.
"Jacaerys... please, please don't stop," you whimpered, turning your head to look at him. His chest glistened with sweat, rising and falling with every breath. His eyes were fixed on you, filled with unmistakable admiration, yet beneath that tenderness lurked something darkerâan insatiable hunger that refused to be hidden.
"Shh, don't worry, my sweet girl." He began to stroke himself, slowly moving his hand.
Suddenly, you felt the tip of his cock at your entrance. You wanted to sink him deep inside you in one swift move. "You ready?" He asked, his chest pressed against you, no space left.
You only nodded, and that was enough for him. He watched himself disappearing into your welcoming heat. Inch by inch, slowly memorizing this moment.
When he was fully inside you, you let a strangled moan, louder than before.
"Shh, be quiet. You don't want anyone else to hear you, hm?" He whispered against your ear, his hot breath making your head dizzy.
You groaned against the pillow. With this muffled sound, he started thrusting, trying to create a pace that would satisfy both of you.
"Gods, you're clenching around me so hard." He grunted between deep and slow thrusts.
You could only let out a soft moan as the overwhelming pleasure washed over your entire body. He gently squeezed your hand, trying to ground and comfort you, but you were already too lost in the moment to notice anything beyond the sensations consuming you.
His movements grew increasingly unsteady, the bed creaking beneath the two of you with each deliberate motion. Every shift of his body sent another quiet protest through the wooden frame, matching the frantic rhythm between you.
That was love. That was a kind of intimacy only the two of you could share. It was nothing like a bedding ceremony, something you knew would happen soon at your wedding nightâa hollow ritual meant to prove the consummation of a marriage, stripped of tenderness and reduced to obligation. This was different. This was something deeper, something real. Something that truly meant everything.
With only a few more movements, you cried out into the pillow, your fingers clutching the sheets as waves of emotion and sensation swept through you. For a fleeting moment, everything else faded away, leaving only the overwhelming intensity of the moment you shared.
Jacaerys was not far behind. Sitting up, he pulled you closer, his hands resting firmly against your waist. "Fuck, you feel so good- I'm gonna-"
After a few final thrusts, he collapsed against your back once more, pressing his cheek to yours as a deep, ragged groan escaped his lips. His warm breath fanned across your skin while he lingered there, reluctant to let go.
The two of you remained like that for a long while, your breathing gradually slowing as the silence settled around you. After a moment, he carefully turned you onto your back, one gentle hand guiding you while the other steadied you. Your hand came to rest on his shoulder as he leaned over you, his dark curls brushing against your forehead in a soft, ticklish touch.
"I love you," he whispered.
In the darkness of your chambers, you felt the warmth of his breath against your skin. He brushed a tender kiss across each of your eyelids before stealing a quick, gentle peck from your lips. When he pulled back, his forehead rested against yours, his gaze soft and full of quiet devotion.
"I love you too," you whispered, your fingertips gently tracing the freckles scattered across his cheek. A soft smile tugged at your lips as you held his gaze. "So much that, sometimes, it almost hurts."
He swallowed, as if trying to convince himself that you were truly thereâthat you were real. That somehow, the gods themselves had blessed him with you, with a love so rare and precious it felt almost impossible to believe.
For a moment, he simply looked at you, overwhelmed by the warmth of your affection and the quiet miracle of being loved so completely.
"I won't let them take you from me." He said with a stern voice.
"Jace, you know there's nothing we can do to prevent this-"
"We can stop this," he interrupted, his voice carrying a mixture of hope and determination.
When something needed fixing, Jacaerys had always been the first to search for a solution. He was the kind of person who faced every problem head-on, refusing to stand by when somethingâor someoneâhe cared about was at risk.
"You know the story of Queen Alysanne and King Jaehaerys? Our own ancestors." He asked and you only nodded looking into his eyes.
"They were brother and sister, just like us. But they married in secret. On Dragonstone," he continued. "The very same place we're living in now."
A slow smile spread across his face as the vision took shape in his mind. To defy everyone, to choose your own path, and to finally set things right. For the first time, it seemed as though he could see a future where everything fell into place.
"If we are bound by blood, then no one has the right to tear us apart," he said, his voice steady with conviction.
"And then?" he continued, his voice filled with a quiet certainty. "We will become the King and Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. We will rule togetherâjust as they once did."
The thought seemed to ignite something within you, a vision of a future where you stood side by side, united against the world that had tried to keep you apart.
"We will have an empire unassailable..." You said with a sly smile.
"And our children will rule it forever and a day." He added, stroking your shoulders.
"What do you say, my sweet sister?" he asked, noticing the smirk slowly forming on your lips.
It was the same smirk he knew so wellâthe one that appeared whenever a dangerous idea began taking shape in your mind.
A/N: Not proof read! Last week when I was trying to cope with Jace's death in the first episode, my brain immediately went to magic, and it made me think of Rapunzel saving Flynn Rider. And then I was looking into the actual magic of the ASOIAF universe. So this is going to be something, somewhere between that. Reader is Daemonâs only bastard child, but they are the child of a witch soâŠ. Anyways, I just got around to writing it and this IS some main character y/n bullshit but hopefully in a good way⊠ENJOY!!Â
Warning: smut 18+; p in v; sloppy sex; breeding kink; creampie
Jacaerys flipped you over onto your back, positioning himself between your spread thighs. He gripped your hips tightly, his fingers sinking into the flesh of your ass as he notched the thick head of his cock against your dripping entrance.
With a low, animalistic growl, he thrust forward, sinking into your tight heat in one hard, deep stroke. He threw his head back, groaning at the exquisite sensation of your walls gripping him like a vice.
âFuuuuck... you're so fucking tight,â he grunted, his hips already starting to move, to thrust into you with a desperate, needy rhythm. âSo fucking perfect...â
He leaned down to capture your mouth in a sloppy, hungry kiss, his tongue delving deep to taste you as he fucked you hard and fast. He could feel his balls slapping against your ass with each powerful thrust, the obscene sound of skin against skin filling the room.
He reached down to thumb at your clit, rubbing the sensitive nub in tight, rough circles. He could feel you clenching around him, your body responding to his touch, to his cock splitting you open.
âCome on, baby... scream for me,â he growled against your lips, his hips never faltering in their desperate rhythm. âLet me hear how good it feels to have my cock buried inside this sweet cunt.
You went cross-eyed as Jacaerys's massive cock speared into you, your mind short-circuiting from the intensity. "Y-yesss!!" You wailed, back arching off the bed as you focused solely on the delicious sensation of his cock stretching your walls.
With each brutal, deep thrust, a whorish moan tore from your throat. "Ah, ah, ah!!" Your eyes rolled back in your head, fluttering as you felt him pounding nearly against your cervix.
"F-fuuuck, you're s-splitting me in half!" You gasped out, your nails raking down his back. Pleasure like youâd never known consumed you, your pussy clenching greedily around his plundering cock. The obscene squelch of him fucking into your soaked cunt filled the room. Plap, plap, plapâŠ
Jacaerys's eyes locked onto the obscene sight of his thick cock disappearing into your dripping cunt with each brutal thrust, watching as he stretched you wide around his girth. He let out a desperate, whiny moan at the erotic image, feeling his balls draw up tight at the base of his shaft.
âYes, fuck... look at how well you take my cock,â he gasped out, one hand snaking down to grip the back of your thigh, hiking your leg up higher around his waist as he leaned in closer. âYour hungry little pussy is swallowing me whole, like it was made just for me...â
He leaned down and spat crudely onto your clit, watching as the saliva mixed with your arousal, making the apex of your sex even slicker, even messier as he fucked into you hard and fast. The wet, sloppy sounds of his hips slapping against yours filled the room, punctuated by his whiny moans and the creaking of the bed frame.
âYou feel so fucking good, baby... so perfect and tight... I can't get enough... can't stop... fuck... I'm going to fill this greedy cunt with my cum... pump you full... flood this pussy until it's dripping out of you... Fuuuck!â
He buried his face in the crook of your neck, his teeth sinking into your shoulder as he fucked into you like a wild dog. Each snap of his hips pushed you further up the bed, your tits bouncing with each impact.
He reached down to squeeze your clit hard, pinching the sensitive nub between his fingers as he rutted into you like a man possessed. Come for me,â he demanded, his voice a desperate snarl against your skin. âPlease come all over meâŠâ
He could feel his climax building fast, his shaft pulsing and throbbing deep inside your clutching heat. With a roar, he slammed into you one last time, burying himself to the hilt as thick ropes of his hot seed erupt from his cock, painting your insides white.
Jacaerys threw his head back, his muscular body convulsing above you as he emptied his heavy, aching balls deep inside your spasming cunt. Jet after jet of his potent, virile cum pumped into you, your belly starts to swell slightly with the sheer volume of his release.
"Fuuuuck, yes... take it all, my little princess," he moaned raggedly, grinding his spurting cock against your cervix as he filled you to the brim with his essence. "I want to see it leaking out of this tight cunt when I pull out..."
He collapsed on top of you, hips still twitching and jerking slightly as the last weak spurts of his orgasm dribbled into your thoroughly used, messy pussy. He peppered your face and neck with soft kisses, still panting harshly from the intensity of his climax.
"Such a good girl..." he murmured, nuzzling under your jaw. "My good girl... all full of my cum now..."
His hand slid down to scoop some of the excess seed dripping from your stretched hole, pushing it back inside you possessively. "Mmmm... I could get used to this... to ruining this perfect pussy every single day until it's constantly dripping with my seed..."
The lady in the high tower|
Jacaerys x reader part 3
Part 1 | part 2
You and your betrothed get closer, him trying to help you though your fear. Your wedding not long after with the fears of your past creeping in behind you, in every corner of the Red Keep.
This marriage was never one of love, at least not for you. It was a simple bandaid over the open festering infection that was slowly making its claim onto the throne of Westeros. Another marriage between the blood of the dragon and the family who lights the way in the ancient city of Old Town. The second marriage of the two families, this one bringing in the house that over sees the waves. A marriage of princess Rhaenyra Targaryenâs oldest son, Jacaerys Velaryon, and the eldest daughter of Lord Ormund Hightower. A tie between the ruling family and one of the oldest and wealthiest families in the Realm. On paper it was a perfect match, but the two of you were not what was written about you in any family record.
You had wanted to stretch out the wedding process for as long as possible, not wanting to be married so young to a man you knew so little. Especially if the tale of him attacking his uncle was true, a man who would maim his own blood would have no qualm hurting those outside of it. You hoped that he wasnât as cruel as the rumors said. Your betrothal lasted for four years before the actual wedding, when you were around ten and eight with Jacaerys being ten and five. A part of you felt too young to be married another part felt like you were too old, most of the other ladies being married quickly after their first blood. Jacaerys was a few years younger than you as well, typically the lady was younger than the lord.
The wedding planning had taken a long time, stretching over the past few years as a wedding between the heirâs heir and the richest house in the realm. There were plans to tour the entire realm with a carriage ride, one that the Targaryens had suggested to be on dragon back instead but your father has staunchly denied knowing your fear. Princess Rhaenyra and her eldest had visited Old Town a few times to talk to you and your father about it, staying for a month at a time. During which you and the prince were to get closer as a future married pair, but you couldnât help being afraid of him.
The first time they had visited, Princess Rhaenyraâs dragon named Syrax had landed in a courtyard near the stables kept on the island housing the hightower. Shortly behind her was her eldest son Jacaerys on his smaller green Vermax, the dragon that had attempted to attack you so many years ago. No one had planned for the Targaryens to show up on this day, especially as there were no planned accommodations for the dragons nor their riders. You and your father had quickly come to the courtyard to greet the two royals, as soon as you came to the loose stones of the edge of the courtyard you were frozen solid. You stared wide eyed at the winged beasts and how the riders acted so casually around them, like the animals couldnât kill them with one snap of their jaw. Your father had already met with Princess Rhaenyra in the middle of the court yard, bowing to her and asking why Old Town had been graced with their presence. Your eyes tracked Vermax as he took in his location, his rider having slipped off of his back and joined his mother. Jacaerys had noticed you watching from the edge of the courtyard, he could see the fear in your eyes. For a moment he wasnât sure if it was directed at him or at his dragon. A sadness washed over him at the thought of either, he wished for you to love him like he loved you. Wished for you to love Vermax as he loved Vermax. Maybe he could convince you to let him take you on Vermax after the wedding, see the realm from above and understand that the dragon wasnât that dangerous. He made his way towards you excited to see the girl he was spending the rest of his days with. He was practically skipping on his way over to you. Once he was beside you you finally noticed him, flinching a bit, finally taking your eyes off the green beast in the courtyard.
âYou-your grace, welcome to Old Town.â
You got out, curtseying to the best of your ability, the brunette smiled at you bowing his head in thanks. Before you could ask why they were there or for how long the boy let out a sighful, âI missed you.â The sound of it made your face grow hot, it made you want to run away and hide. It made you feel vulnerable, something you hated feeling. You nodded at the boy, a shy smile on your lips. You couldnât even get a word in before he grabbed your arm, looping his with yours, asking you âwill you show me the keep? I wish to see your home.â
You blushed slightly before nodding at him, leading the prince away from the courtyard to one of the gardens you favored. There werenât many spots in the hightower to be alone, especially alone with nature. The hightower sat on an island in the middle of Old Town, allowing you to look over the entire city when at a certain height. There wasn't much outside space because of this, if you wanted to be in nature you needed to leave the city or be fine with the man made gardens of the castle. The air in the city didnât stink as much as Kingâs Landing but still held the aroma of the sea mixing with the incense of the Citadel and the smells of the city. It was home. Past Ladies of house Hightower had filled the garden with flowers from families all over the realm. Many bring the flowers grown at their home keeps to their new home. This had left the garden to be incredibly colorful. The garden had been your favorite place in the entirety of the Hightower; you could look out into the ocean with only the harbors around the edge of Old Town visible. It was peaceful, it made you forget almost everything when you spent time out here, all of the stress melting off of you. In the middle of the garden sat a small gazebo, barely fit for one let alone two people. You and Meredyth spend a good portion of your childhood in this gazebo, hosting private tea parties just for each other. House Mullendore had brought butterflies for the garden one year for your birthday, it had made you so excited at the time wanting to learn as much as you could about the little insects. Your maester was more than happy to teach you about the bugs. Every spring you and Meredyth would host another of these private tea parties to celebrate the coming of more butterflies and again in winter when they would fly south for warmth.
Now you were welcoming a man that had a dragon that attempted to kill you into your safe space, polluting it. You attempted to avoid the gazebo, not wanting one of the happiest spots of your life to be clouded as well. Jacaerys seemed happy to just walk with you, just to touch your arm slightly, just to be in your presence. The prince took in the flowers covering the garden, all differing colors and with differing flowering patterns, it was a mess but still somehow looked beautiful with how it was placed. Jacaerys paused in front of some tall red bundles. He moved, raising his hand up to the flower. Pressing his fingers to the sides of the flower, he smiled before turning to look at you. âItâs a dragon.â
You looked at him confused, âthe maesters call it Antirrhinum.â
Jacaerys chuckled before motioning you closer, having you stand in front of him as he held the flower again. He flexed his fingers so that the petals moved closer together. âOn Dragonstone we call them snapdragons. When you squeeze them like this, they look like the face of a dragon.â
You knelt down slightly to take a closer look at the flower, trying to understand what he was talking about. You blinked a few times, watching it as he squeezed softly. Finally you saw it, the differing shades of red forming into the muzzle of the scaled beast you feared. You gasped at the realization before pulling away from the flower in surprise. The prince laughed at your reaction, plucking the flower from its stem. He turned to you with it in between his fingers, he motioned you closer and when you took a step near him placed the flower behind your ear, moving your hair out of the way. He smiled, a blindingly beautiful thing that made you blush.
âThere. A dragon from your dragon.â
You were certain he could feel the heat radiating off of your face. You nodded slightly, looking away from him to continue walking the garden. Jace happily follows behind your flustered self. The two of you spent the next hour in the garden, resting in the gazebo to talk to each other. Jace rested his face on hand, admiring you across the table as you drank some of the tea brought from the maids and watched the butterflies bounce between flowers. The two of you weren't even talking anymore, just basking in each other's presence. A voice cut through the silence suddenly, a voice you knew quite well. âAre you having tea without me?â
Meredyth Mullendore stood near the entrance to the gazebo, smiling at you. She looked over at the brunette sitting across from you and quickly curtseyed with a quick âmy lordâ slipping from her lips. Before you could say anything Jacaerysâ smile turned forced as he turned towards her. When he did, Meredyth could see the dragon emblem on the front of his chest proudly displaying his family. She gasped before falling into a deeper curtsey muttering out quickly, âyour grace! I apologize I had no idea that we were being visited today. I will leave you two.â
She quickly made her way out of the garden, you know sheâs going to interrogate you later. You watched the princeâs face as the annoyed look slipped away. You took a sip from the tea before placing it down on the table again. You ask him, âDoes being called lord bother you, my prince?â
He looked up at you surprised, you hadnât been very talkative since his dragon had landed, so leading you to speak up for a full sentence was shocking to him. He let out a sigh taking in what you asked before responding, âif I had the silver hair of my mother, no one would ever mistakenly think less of me.â
You hummed, agreeing silently. âThatâs true, may I offer another perspective my prince?â
You ask, taking a sip of your drink again. He nodded at you, his eyebrows pinched together.
âDo you think having moreâŠcausal features might be helpful? You will look like the lords you rule over allowing them a sense of familiarity unseen with past dragon lords. As well, you will be able to hide in a crowd much easier than the likes of Aegon with his striking white hair.â
He blinked a few times, surprised from your perspective. After a moment he smiled and nodded, saying to you âyouâre right. It could be useful to be a king without the colors of a traditional Targaryen.â After a beat he chuckled and said to you, âwhen I am king I should make you my hand, youâll no doubtably be my most trusted and my wife. You give sage advice like no lord has before you.â
Deep down you would have loved that, to be the kingâs hand to have a deciding vote in what happens to the realm, to truly have power. But you knew, you knew that Westeros would never accept a female hand let alone a queen ruling them. you donât even think Jacaerys would become king, especially with the health of his uncles Aegon and Aemond, even little Daeron stood between the boy in front of you and the throne. You smiled at the boy in front of you, giggling slightly at his response. âThank you, your grace, your praise is enough for me.â
He opened his mouth, ready to respond, but his mothers voice cut through the silence before he could get a word out. Princess Rhaenyra stood at the entrance to the gardens, smirking at her sonâs red face. The boy shot up from the gazebo, quickly turning towards his mother. You slipped out from the gazebo to stand beside the prince, curtseying to the princess on the other side of the garden. She smiled at you before waving the two of you closer. You began making your way across the cobble stepping stones to her when Jacaerys offered his arm for you to hold, you took it gently. He seemed to shine once you touched him, beaming at his mother who attempted to cover her amusement at his reaction. Once the two of you were before her, her hand came to rest on your upper arm almost as if attempting to comfort you. She began to lead you two back towards the courtyard, back to their dragons. You attempted to stal at the edge of the courtyard, not wanting to come close to the monsters and have them lock on to you as prey. It seems the two dragon riders had a different idea as they lightly dragged you along with them. Rhaenyra says âthat's no way to get over your fear of dragons, come you will meet them.â
You attempted to pull away from the two, watching as the creatures picked their heads up to look at you being dragged to them. Almost like a sacrificial lamb for the dragons to feast on, or at least thatâs how you felt. You pleaded with them, âpl-please your grace. I will have plenty of time later to worry about this fear.â
Jacaerys laughed, keeping his hand over yours, ânonsense! Thereâs nothing to worry about! Both of them are quite well behaved, I assure you.â
They were not well behaved and you knew that. You heard the stories of their misbehavior, of Syrax almost attacking guards for separating her from her rider. Stories of Vermax nipping at the princeâs nursemaids as a child and growing even worse with the keepers of the dragon pit. The two beasts had gained their own nicknames for their behaviors, Syrax the spoiled and Vermax the ill-tempered. The behavior of the dragons was definitely a reflection of their owners and how they treated the creatures. Your hand came up to grip onto the prince's, causing the boy to grow flustered and loosen his hold. You were finally able to break free, running to your fatherâs side on the other side of the courtyard, holding onto him tightly. Your fathers hand rested over your, rubbing his thumb soothingly over the back of it.
âI ask that you refrain from traumatizing my daughter, your graces.â
The two looked a little sheepish, Rhaenyra smiling at you and waving off your father. âAh she is to be married to a dragon! We cannot have her fearing them!â
The two royals left shortly after, they took to their saddles and began to rouse the dragons to take off. Jacaerys turned to you, a bright smile stretched across his face. He waved over to you shouting out a quick âsee you soon, darling!â Causing your face to turn bright red, many of the people in the courtyard turned to look at you either in amusement or in judgement you couldnât tell. You turned and fled to your chambers as quickly as you could.
â
Four years later you stood in the grand sept on Visenyaâs hill. The sun was barely creeping up the sky when you had ventured out to the Sept, wanting to be alone with the Gods. You were kneeling at the candled altar, praying to the seven for a safe marriage. You prayed for a marriage that wouldnât end with you in pain, that wouldnât end with you being hurt. A part of you wished to not even be near him after marriage. But a bigger part had grown fond of him, in these four years youâve grown to know him deeply. He would pay you visits and send letters often, discussing his role as heir, his struggles with learning the language of the dragon tamers, the arguments with the Velaryons about his brotherâs legitimacy, and his restlessness to see you again. He would often bring gifts as well; dragon glass, sculptures and figurines, icons of the seven, and flowers, many many flowers. Maybe you possibly loved him. You would never admit it. This marriage was to keep you in your castle for as long as possible, keep you with your family, you didnât care who you were married to. You could have married an eighty year old lord if it meant you didnât need to leave Old Town. You finished your prayers lighting a candle before pulling away from the altar to return to your bridal suite.
You scurried across the courtyard of the sept coming across Queen Alicent on her way inside. She paused seeing you leave, sending you a soft smile. You stopped in front of her bowing to her, she chuckled, her hands grabbing your hands. âCongratulations, my dear. I believe marriage will suit you wonderfully.â
You looked down at your conjoined hands, a soft smile crossing your face. You nodded to her whispering out, âthank you, your grace.â She patted your hand and moved around you up to the great sept, her green dress pulling behind her slightly. You watched her take a few steps away, your family color pulling with her. You returned to your carriage waiting for you, Meredyth waiting inside for you. She was reading a small book, some novel of seemingly explicit material. This one was about a beast man, a half man half wolf, who takes a human woman into his cave to make her his lover. The idea was disgusting to you, marriage seemed painful enough not even having the choice in who you marry was worse. She smirked at you when you entered the carriage, beginning her tirade about the recent chapter of the filth.
âShe is pregnant! The main character is locked inside the cave and is pregnant!!â
You winced slightly at her voice praying that no one outside the carriage could hear her exclamation. You sighed as the carriage started the trip back to the Red Keep, your nails picking at the skin around your fingers. âPlease, itâs my wedding day Meredyth. I am stressed enough without worries of wolf men and pregnancy.â
She huffed slightly but indulged you, reaching over to grasp your hands to stand you from causing harm to yourself. She smiled at you reassuringly before saying, âitâll be fine, youâre stressed over nothing. You will look so beautiful that there will be nothing to worry about!â
She was not good at comforting people. You loved her like a sister and would often seek her comfort but she was not good at giving it. Often brushing out her long coiled black hair as you complained, watching you through her vanity mirror. Her marriage was coming soon as well, her hand promised to a Cuy boy. He was six years her senior with flowing brunette hair that seemed to have strikes of blonde rushing through it. You had been with Meredyth the few times she met him, always comforting her through the awkward tension of meeting her betrothed. He had been kind and acted gentlemanly the whole time you met him, you hoped he would stay that way and treat your friend only kindly.
âDoes lord Cuy know of your taste in books?â
You smirked at her, happy to take the focus away from yourself and your future. She glared at you for a second, fading away just as quickly as a giggle overtook her. You laughed with her, happy to share in the joy of a long time friend. She leaned closer to you and whispered, âhe has written me rather raunchy letters, he is just as ready as I am to break in our wedding bed.â
You gasped, the idea of the couple sharing such intimate ideals with each other before their wedding feeling absurd. Meredyth was still giggling at you when she noticed the flustered look on your face, her eyes widened as she squeaked out, âyou and the prince have not-?â
âNo we have not!!â
Your were turning as red as possible, Meredyth giggling saying youâre turning as red as the Targaryen sigil. You brought your hands up to your cheeks to block the warmth, almost attempting to hide yourself from the eyes of your friend. The two of you were entering into the Red Keep, you quickly reminding her to hold her tongue in front of anyone else about what you two discussed. She was more than ready to walk you to the bridal suite and get you dressed for the big event.
The wagon stopped letting the two of you scramble out of it. Meredyth took your arm ready to pull you off the get you dressed up for your wedding, she began to pull you when you stopped her seeing Prince Aemond across the courtyard. He seemed to not have noticed you yet, giving you a moment to admire how heâs changed in these few years apart. He was walking with a kingâs guard, Ser Criston Cole. Prince Aemond had grown tall in the time youâve been separated. His long silver hair swayed with each of his steps. The black leather eyepatch stuck out against his pale hair and skin, drawing in your eyes even more. You wondered what it would have been like to be married to him, would he still be the soft gentle boy you knew growing up? Or had the attack changed him entirely?
The dark-haired girl next to you brought your attention back to her, subtly reminding her of the hungry eyes of the court looking to tear down you and your future husband at any point. You quickly turned away from the boy you once knew to prepare to marry the boy who had potentially taken his eyesight. You had never asked about that night, too scared to know the answer. You and Meredyth began making your way towards the chambers you had been staying in, a tradition in the faith of the seven for the husband and wife to not see each other the day of until they are married in the eyes of the Gods. You had spent all week with Jacaerys and his family, all of them excited for the new addition to them. It was nice to have a moment alone even if it was with your friend.
On the stairs up to the chambers, the two of you giggling between each other, you noticed a few people freezing up and scurrying away ahead of you. You quickly pull Meredyth closer, wanting to protect her from whatever was coming to you two. You could hear laughter from where the chaos was radiating from, unfortunately you needed to go through the center of the storm to get to the chambers. As you got closer you noticed the small body with striking silver hair riding atop a copperish scaled beast. Prince Jaehaerys and his dragon Shrykos. The two were content in terrorizing the guards and maids sent to protect them. If it was anything else but a dragon the sight would be hilarious, a young boy celebrating life with his close companion. The sight of the scaled beast froze you solid where you were. The beast seemed to be smiling, its claws scratching on the tiles of the hall making a terrible sound, smoke curled out of its nostrils, its mouth nipping at the air every once and awhile. Meredyth could see the fear in your eyes, watching the creature intensely. But she knew you couldnât keep this fear, your husband was a dragon rider, any child you had would have a dragon, you could not stay frozen by this fear. She called out to the boy, âgood morrow my prince! If we might, could we get around you to the chambers? Lady Hightower needs to ready for her wedding today!â
The prince stopped and scrutinized the two of you for a moment, his eyes scanning you. He called out, âwho is she to marry?â
A simple question from a child, it shouldnât scare you. It shouldnât have you worried about how the dragon would react to your answer. You respond to him, âpr-prince Jacaerys, your grace.â The boy gasped happily crying out, âWe are to be family!â He jumped from the back of his dragon to run up to the two of you, the dragon settling down behind him. Your shoulders dropped knowing the being wouldnât attack you with the boy standing between you. You chuckled at the boy leaning slightly forward to be more face to face with the young prince. âWe are already family, my prince. Your grandmother is my cousin.â
The boy gasped out happily, bouncing on the front of his feet. You smiled at him as he began rambling, not fully understanding everything he was saying. You wish you could have stayed with the young boy and learned all he wanted to tell you, but your wedding was coming and you needed to dress for it. You stood up straight, smiling at the young boy as you said, âI must prepare for the wedding, my prince, so if youâll excuse us.â He nodded and moved out of the way, the two of you hugging the wall to stay as far away from the dragon as possible. The young prince waved at you when you were at the end of the hallway.
You let out a heavy sigh as you were free of the smoke of the dragonâs breath. Meredyth rubbing your arm to provide comfort towards you. Thankfully the chambers werenât much farther and the two of you were able to enter without being stalled by another Targaryen family member. You rested against the heavy door once inside, you and Meredyth looking at each other before fits of laughter claimed you both. You were gasping for air but the time you calmed. Meredyth moved through the room to a table that held a variety of cheeses and fruit, with a wine bottle proudly displayed among them. Meredyth opened the bottle pouring the both of you a glass. After this night you would be a married woman, a woman forever tied to the blood of the dragon. The thought was horrific to a younger version of yourself. You took the drink from her thankfully. Maids entered the room soon after, removing the dress you wore to the sept to be replaced by your wedding dress.
It was a cascade of white fabric down your body, covering you entirely. The neck line was cut to show the top of your chest, your breast pushed together. On your chest sat the necklace Ser Otto had gifted you all those years ago, it holding one of the only pops of color on you. Around your waist a belt of seven pointed stars was cinching the waist of the dress in. The top of your sleeves were puffed out with them cutting in afterwards to hug your arms. The dress was beautiful and you spent a minute admiring yourself in the mirror. The maids quickly moved to your hair next, twisting it to wrap around the back of your head, any stray strands moving behind your ears. You looked beautiful, in a way youâve never seen yourself before. Next the maids placed the sheer veil fabric over your head, it was your motherâs before you which she wore when she married your father. You wished she could see you here today. The veil was clipped in the side of your head so it wouldnât slip with your steps. You slipped into a pair of white small heels with embroidering on the sides. The last step was the heavy coat with your familyâs sigil which would be removed by your husband and replaced with his sigil. You let out a heavy sight once the shawl was on your shoulders, you looked over to Meredyth she had a frown on her face both from sadness and love. She was happy to see you being loved and adored, but also saddened that she would lose you as her closest friend. You would be taken from her and she from you. You felt tears prick your eyes looking at her, your face mirroring her frown. She rushed forward and collected you into her arms holding you tight, the two of you locked in this embrace. A knock at the large oak doors is what finally broke you apart, your father entering a moment later, ready to give you off to the Velaryon prince. You could see the pain on his face, the reality of giving away his eldest daughter hitting him harshly. He took in a sharp breath at the sight of your motherâs veil smiling sadly at you as he whispered,
âYou look just as beautiful as she did that day.â
The simple sentence broke you, making tears slip down your face as you hugged your father tight. He held you to his chest, his hand coming to the back of your head to soothe you. Shortly after he pulled away his hands grasping your upper arms as he took in your entire form. He gave you a smile before moving his arm to you saying, âready to go, my dear?â
You nodded, fighting back the tears as you whispered to your father, "I am.â
The march to the grand hall felt like the march of a prisoner to the gallows. With each step more and more fear rose in you. The fear was breaking you, your legs feeling heavy, almost water logged. Your father acting as an anchor for you so you wouldnât float away. The two of you stood in front of the hall, taking a moment to prepare yourself. You looked at your father from the corner of your eye, his face hard. A soldier giving away a prisoner. The servants open the door after your father motioned for them to, starting the wedding officially. Starting the end and beginning of your life. You took a deep breath before diving into your new life. Preparing for whatever was to come.
Inside multiple houses, both big and small, were present. It was a royal wedding, the whole realm was to be a part of it. You kept your eyes forward not wanting to see the way people looked at you, not wanting to see the judgement, anger, resentment, or sadness in their eyes. At the end of the hall stood the prince, his curled brown hair standing proudly, the black leather of his wedding suit being cut with the bright red of his cape and sigil. He smiled as you grew closer, his eyes filling with love, his eyes being the only ones you could meet. His eyes were a brilliant brown, something that you would have found uninteresting in the beginning alas you had found yourself falling for how the light reflected off them and they changed under sunlight. His face lit up as you grew closer and closer, you could see his fingers fidgeting, craving to reach out and grab you from your father. To finally claim you as his wife. You weren't far from him when your father stopped, standing still before turning to boy to the king, you copying his actions. King Viserys had grown old, his body practically folded in half and almost all of his hair gone. He wore a gold mask that covered half his face, something you were thankful for as you heard rumors that the skin underneath was writhing with maggots. The thought of it sent a shiver down your spine. Next to the king sat Queen Alicent, she smiled at the two of you and nodded, urging you forward. You turn back to your future husband, him looking at you with soft gentle eyes. The look melts you seeing how much he longs to have you as his wife.
Jacaerys moved closer, holding his arm out for you to take. Taking you from your father care into his own. Your father let you go, his limbs slightly shaky, before he lowered his head in a bow to the prince and went to the opposite side of the royal family to sit with Ser Otto, your brother Lyonel, and others of your house. The prince led you up the small steps to the maester waiting for you. The older man seemed unimpressed with everything around him, as if royal weddings were something he saw every week. A reminder of how different your life was to become, how lost you were. The maester had the prince remove the coat with your familyâs sigil off your back, it was replaced with one holding the Targaryen and Velaryon sigils. The princeâs hands sat heavily on your shoulders as he wrapped the fabric around you so as to not fall. You turn to face the boy again, seeing the light reflect off his brown eyes again. You studied them for a second noticing flecks of green and gold present. It made you soften seeing how beautiful his eyes were, you could spend years staring into them. He smiled at you, admiring you back for your gaze on his. His hands came up to move the veil off of your face, his breath catching in his throat at the sight of you without the cloth separation. Jacaerys held your hand in front of your bodies beginning the ceremony officially.
The old maester cleared his throat before saying, âIn the sight of the Seven, I hereby see you these two souls, binding them as one for eternity. Look upon one another and say the words.â The ribbon was wrapped over your hands, binding the two of you together. Jacaerys and you began to say the rest of the words, âFather. Smith. Warrior. Mother. Maiden. Crone. Stranger. I am his/hers, and s/he is mine, from this day, till the end of my days.â
Your hands were bound to the other, Jacaerys looking at you with a soft look as he finished saying, âWith this kiss, I pledge my love.â
He leaned forward and claimed your lips softly, not forcing, not demanding, just a sweet press of his on top of yours. He didnât take anything from you, just placed his lips to yours before pulling away. You wanted to chase him down and continue the kiss, to know the feeling of him entirely. The wedding was almost over, you would do a tour of the realm with your husband and would be free of him soon. But first came the feast and bedding ceremony, which would be the hardest part of this union for you.
You werenât much of a warrior. You had been raised the way a princess should have been. Well, thatâs what your mother told you. However, when two days had passed since Aemond and Aegon had left to confront Rhanerya, and everyone refused to tell you what was happening you decided to get the hell out of there on your dragon.
Hello!!! So I was thinking if you could do this +18 dic for Jace
So like reader is from a kingdom or land outside from Westeros (royalty not Dothraki) and to make alliances itâs decided that readers sister is gonna be betrothed to someone in the Targaryen family BUT reader is against making alliances with Westeros because of their culture and how women are inferior and after the feast jace shows her why Westeros and her land should make alliances if yk what I meanđ
It would be awesome if you could make this!!
Thanks bye bye!!
oooh love this idea! Hope you enjoy it <3
why donât i show you?
when you come to westeros to arrange your sisters marriage in an alliance with westeros you find there customs to be anything but acceptable and start to question the need for an alliance, it takes jace to show you why an alliance is needed.
