unexpected, to say the least. the bau has followed a case here, the shelter a good place to start hunting. aaron had entered the establishment with an air of business, face stoic and stern, much like it always is, but that changes the moment he sees the woman speaking with one of the patrons of the shelter. it had been a few years, but elle doesn't seem as if she's changed much, physically. and as unexpected as it was to see her, aaron didn't think it was bad to. perhaps he was a bit conflicted after the events she had left her ex team with, but she seemed to be doing well enough. he'd approached carefully, unsure of where they all stood, but willing to talk if elle was willing to help. 'how long have you been working here?' it's a safe enough question, the supervisory special agent meeting elle's eyes, his stare neutral. 'i had an opportunity to read your updated file, and where you went, but i thought that was too much of a breach of privacy,' if she wanted them to know where she was, she would have reached out. @thew1nter.
