I wake when the air in the room shifts. I crack my eyes open. Nere kneels beside the bed and slowly lifts the mattress. She’s after the stone. Little minx. The sun shines in her hair, the light strands almost silver.

4.5 'Shiver Me Timbers' Stars! Avast ye! Check out the latest Cash Remington action, adventure installment. Cash is a rogue Pirate Captain who takes what he wants while slaying sea creatures, bargaining with a sea-god and getting the girl(s). He is a cocky alpha who is larger than life, and there is nothing he can't do. This short story is fast paced and exciting with non-stop action, in and out of the bed. I love the concept of the same character taking on a different guise for each story. He was a spy in the first book, now a pirate, I can't wait to see who he is next!
