I’ve been using those disposable shower caps from hotels I’ve stayed at for the longest time. I finally went to Ulta and purchased a reusable one. I couldn’t resists picking up Hot Tools Satin Shower Cap! I immediately loved the outer lining which is made of waterproof vinyl. It has an embroidered lace band that is comfortable and not too tight. The satin cap is durable, I could never poke a hole in this by accident. The best part is the water slide right off this after using, it dries so so quickly ready for another use!

I have a small head and long thin hair, I couldn’t fully cover my head with this cap. I couldn’t use a big clip to put up my hair because it wouldn’t fit in this cap. Even if I use a small clip, I still couldn’t fit all my hair into it. I honestly think this cap was meant for a child’s head. I really wish the cap came in different sizes, not one fits all. Not long after of using this, the band comes loose over time. The band isn’t tight enough to keep the water out. After I take the cap off I always find that my hairline is wet. Lastly after 3 uses, the cap does start to smell moldy.

Would I purchase this cap or recommend it to you guys? No I wouldn’t. It doesn’t keep my hair dry, which is the only function it really should do!
