Crashing into another planet with no sign of living creatures. At least, not people of any race and kind, just wild and hostile animals and plants. Nothing works and the whumpee is in no good shape at all. The team must be on the way to rescue them. Caretaker could probably manage to wait a little and keep the whumpee awake and safe until help arrives, if only the air of the planet was breathable and not toxic enough for them to slowly lose consciousness as well, ha!!!

its like fear and love are so close to being the same emotion for me when it comes to nature™️. i think so much about the scary little bugs, the big things that could fuck me up when i go on a night walk, the plants that will just make my skin wish it didnt exist, the huge natural monuments and cataclysms that i am basically nothing in the face of. like not even considering space, i am nothing next to a large mountain. i am nothing in the path of an avalanche. and for some reason i like that i guess
i talk abt how much i love the valley bc i grew up there but also i love it because of the fucking psychological horror behind the concept of valley fever. its not exclusive to the valley but like. still
since i moved east, do you know how long its taken me to get used to the concept that i dont have to worry about inhaling spores whenever i am planting anything or disturbing the soil for any reason?

i cope with the scary parts of nature by simply loving them. im like ok the black widow that bit me that one time was a queen. it sucked but i didnt die. and i built character 🖤 i guess
