y/n use to hate that they couldn’t see colour, hated having their mom have to describe colours because they couldn’t see them. but then the virus came and suddenly y/n didn’t mind that they couldn’t see the colour of the sky, because it also meant they couldn’t see the colour of blood the dripped from the mouths of zombies.

the apocalypse had been raging on for months, y/n still found it funny that they would wonder about their soulmate once in a while. wonder if they had become a zombi, if they were dead or heck still alive. of course they hoped that their soulmate was still out there, y/n wondered what it would be like finding their soulmate at the end of this, if there was ever going to be an end.

jin always wondered what the stars looked like as he sat looking across what use to be the city he lived in. he wondered where his soulmate was in the world, he wish he knew, wish he could get to them and protect them against what the world had become.

he had been by himself most of the apocalypse, friends had left or worse. he didn’t mind being alone at first, it allowed him to move from place to place as quickly as he could. after a while though he missed the company of someone else, maybe that’s why he risked going to stores in hope of finding someone else alive.

it was dangerous sure but there was always a small chance of running into another living person. he fixed the gun on his back, making his way down the hill towards the neon signed store.

y/n wandered around the store, one hand rested on their gun the other moved whatever food was left on the shelf. the grip on the gun tightened when they heard the store doors open.

she listened to the footsteps waiting for whoever it was to walk around the corner to where they was. they pulled out their gun, but when the footsteps got closer, something y/n wasn’t expecting happened.

suddenly the store became brighter, the gun they held in their hand was no longer grey but a shinny black colour instead. y/n looked up to the person the gun was pointed at, he looked just as confused eyes trained to his red soaked shirt.

the first thing jin noticed was the blood on his shirt, it hadn’t been so bright before but now being able to see it as red and not grey freaked him out. he lowered his gun taking in the person who stood in front of him.

“i’m seokjin but uh you can call me jin” he held out is hand now noticing the dry blood around his cuts.

“i’m y/n” they took jin’s hand in theirs “though surprising i’m glad your still alive”
