Making your way around the spiral shape that was known as the downtown area would have been difficult enough by itself. All Kelechi had was a basic map app and a hectic train schedule to guide her to her destination. Unfortunately, she just had to have been brought to the terrible city during a cataclysmic event, leaving most of the populace in a state of mass panic.

Said event was the primary reason she was in this ward. In Fibronacci, the gravity would either pin people in place or threaten to lift them straight out of the city. It was only reasonable to head deeper into the canyon, where even if she was swept away, she’d hit a walkway one floor up instead of potentially falling several stories.

She had only made it about ten meters down before the surrounding gravity was exerting more force on her. Whenever that happened, the best thing to do seemed to be waiting it out, rather then trying to fight against it. Unfortunately, about seven feet away, a rather tall man seemed to be struggling against the earth’s pull.

A thought occurred to her, she could use her own gravity powers to help him. Of course, that would be useless if the gravity inverted itself, not to mention she could only do it once. What if she needed it later?

But she also had many underlying wants that would remain buried.
