1. What are things they both find funny? unfortunately their sense of humor isn’t TOO similar but sinestro finds human television to be MARGINALLY entertaining and thus sometimes he and hal end up watching real housewives together. on the off occasions hal finds reason to drag sinestro up to the watchtower, neither of them can take batman serious at all.
17. What senses (sights, smells, feelings, etc). remind them of each other? there’s not much that can be smelled out in the depths of space, but it could be argued that the energies of their respective rings certainly lends itself to something. inexplicably, as much as sinestro likes to insult his planet and humans as a whole, his sensitive korugarian sense of smell unfortunately picks up a lot that he comes to associate with hal: the faint scent of jet fuel, the earthy smell of his flight suit, the sharp tang of his aftershave. hal has a little less to go on, with sinestro often almost smelling too alien to put into words, but he’s come to associate the smell of ozone that accompanies the opening and closing of antimatter universe portals with sinestro.
SIGHTS are a lot less serious. i like to exaggerate sinestro’s ears and also give him sharp teeth so hal inevitably becomes fascinated with pointy ears and fangs in any context. sinestro’s taken a mild liking to fighter jets if only because he admires their power.
feelings... for both, unwavering hope, probably. not quite blue-ring level but up there. they won’t admit it but they believe and trust in each A LOT. that and subsequent disappointment.
31. What do they love to do after sex? hal has chronic commitment issues and some part of sinestro never quite gets over the deaths of both abin and arin sur, so the most post-coital cuddling amounts to is them both laying there in somewhat tense silence as they each try to ignore that That Just Happened until one them falls asleep/is sufficiently distracted so that the other can slip away until the next time they fall into bed together despite their best efforts. nothing ever gets really sweet between them until MUCH farther down the line, and even then it really just amounts to... holding each other. they don’t often end up spending the whole night together. one or the other (usually sinestro) usually leaves.
