It's been said by many people more eloquent than I but online clothing outlets aimed at women really are precision engineered to give you a feeling of dysphoria if you aren't approximately the size of a thimble

sent in an outline for comments for this theory assignment i'm working on and the professor i sent it to was the student of the guy the essay is primarily about way back in the '80s, and many of the comments i got back were along the lines of "it used to really annoy me when he did/said this" "he got really full of himself after he got promoted to [important non-academic position]" "i'm pretty sure he never actually read my PhD thesis" lmao
Discovered another thing about my Master's degree that I'm angry about in the course of explaining why I took a year out to my great-uncle
Anyway in "nice things that happened to me today" instead of "bad and annoying things that happened to me today": I've really been wanting a camera for a while and, while hoovering, happened upon an old barely-used camcorder from 2013 that we'd just been keeping in the same drawer for over a decade. And it still works really well! I've been taking photos and videos with it and it has an incredible zoom function, among other things. The main issue is, I think, going to be figuring out how to connect it to my laptop in order to transfer images from the storage card, because the cable is probably long gone and this is, of course, a pre-USB-C era, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
