when you work for a website, social media is both a requirement and an outlet - for those behind the scenes, it’s a way to showcase themselves beyond hoopla. for those on camera, it’s another fragment of their persona’s hoopla has helped them cultivate.  however they use social media, most millennials these days have one, two or several accounts across different platforms, some are public, some are private, and some people just don’t care what they have out there.  for this task, we invite you to dive deep into your character’s social media outlook - what they use, how often they use it, etc. ! 

some suggestions:

go creative ! there are tons of social media templates or websites you can use to make faux templates and show off your muses social media presence. 

go developmental ! write out what their views are on social media - are they pro, or con? do they have any opinions on it at all? how does it effect their life outside of work? 

go wild ! there are tons of resources out there in general, and we’re glad to answer any questions you have. but this task is all about your interpretation of what you want to do! fulfill this task as many times as you want, whenever you want! there’s no date restrictions or requirements to fill at any time.

everyone has a past - and when you’re on the cusp of internet fame, everyone wants to know just what it is. all employees whose names are on the websites - the actors, the writers, even those behind the scenes who contribute with comments and likes - have an employee landing page with pictures and information about them. 

for our first task, we invite you to tell us about your character  - a vague prompt with a lot of different options to dive into! you can create your employee page, or use this as a mere jumping off point ( and excuse! ) to make whatever you want. 

some suggestions: 

go creative ! create a playlist, an aesthetic, a moodboard, graphics of any kind! social media edits, about pages, etc. - there are tons of options available, and lots of different tags to pursue for inspiration and resources. you can also find resources on our inspo blog, with templates loaded into the queue to help inspire graphics down the line! 

go developmental ! write out an in depth bio, create a journal for your character to keep up with, etc. - dive deep into your character with headcanons, background information, whatever you can come up with! 

write about their time at hoopla, or write about their life outside of work - people often have different personalities in and out of work, and while this is the type of work environment that encourages you to be yourself and be genuine, they’ll still have a whole life outside of the hoopla offices!
