I had my second birthday in a row in lockdown this year! Joe and I went cycling into town and had lunch at @falafel_nottm - our favourite falafel take out- , had lunch with the pigeons of market square; took the boys to the hook nature reserve and “met up” on zoom with some of my closest friends in Italy. We took our rubber dingy to the Hook Nature reserve yesterday and paddled up the Trent with Bruce yesterday - Joe was doing all the paddling and Bruce was very well behaved pretty much till the end as you could tell he really wanted to take a leap and jump in the water. We got back to shore soaking wet as the big boats that passed created such a big wave that the water got in the dingy. This is a snapshot of the morning though. Still nature, green plants and vibrant sounds of insects and birds .
