There weren't many moments in her life when Emma had felt so pathetically weak and hopeless; most of them had been Neal's fault, but right now it was half his and half hers for lying to Henry. Neal had left after another fight with his father, just for a walk, to Henry's dismay, and she, being a damn idiot herself, had tried to talk to Henry again on the way out of the building, only making things worse. When outside, he had turned around the corner, stopping in the road right next to the building: "You should go and find him. Talk to him for once, instead of me!"   "Henry, look..." she made a few steps towards him, reaching for shoulder, but he pulled back. "I don't want to talk to you!" Henry finally snapped; Emma could see the tears beginning to form in his eyes. And there it was, the feeling of having failed him completely. The weakness and hopelessness. "I told you! You are just like Regina! You don't care for me, you only care for yourself!"  "Don't say that..." she murmured, letting her arm drop. She had lied to protect herself, that was true, but she also loved Henry and didn't want to disappoint him... Was that how Regina felt all the time?  "Come with me, Henry," Mr Gold called from behind her, stopping her from telling him that, and Emma turned around to see his stern expression. Somehow, he thought it was all her fault. "We'll wait for him together." "You will not take him-" Emma began, raising her voice angrily, but Henry immediately ran to him, leaving her petrified in her place. He didn't even look back at her and Gold, the bastard, gave her another disapproving look before walking away. With her kid. She took a deep breath and then turned around, feeling the need to kick something, only to jump back at the sight of Hook, of all the people, coming out of the shadows. Was he there to kill Gold? How much had he heard? Suddenly, she realized she didn't even care, she just wanted to disappear. And get drunk. "What do you want?" she murmured, unable to put together any question or threat or even just glare at him. "It's not the right time."
