I am reading the first chapter of each book I bought, so that I may determine which one I will read next (once I finish what I am already reading).

Raybearer by Joradan Ifueko

Chapter 1? Exquisite. The imagery? Lush. Beautiful. His fantasy world is based off of African culture (I need to do research for which country) and I want to learn more. The magic system is different, and I am enjoying learning how everything works.

Characters are amazing and fleshed out too. Already, I am wanting to learn more about our protagonist, Tarisai, and I am watering at the mouth from the ending line of chapter 1.

My mother was the devil, and I, her puppet demon.

I NEED MORE. NOW.
