I have a darkness in me that has been a constant companion over the years. For a long time I believed I needed to eradicate myself of this darkness in order to be whole and complete and at peace. I've wanted nothing more than to be light day in and day out, to have raw authentic light to show myself and others as I navigate this journey, and to show others that they could also rid themselves of their darkness just like I did. What I now desire is to flow through and between my light and dark, to hold the darkness like a new born and explore it's pain with curiosity so I may love it and learn from it. Without my darkness my light side wouldn't have the resilience, courage, faith, compassion, understanding, and evolution it does. Without my darkness I wouldn't understand my own light to the degree I do today. Without my darkness I wouldn't be the woman I am before you. My light wouldn't have the depth it does now without the challenges and trials that I have experienced through and with my dark. If you know how to suffer, you will suffer much, much less. I am learning. I choose to surrender. I wish to continue to overcome fears and insecurities. I choose abundance.
