there are a lot of factors that supposedly draw women to support roles, like games that make their female characters overwhelmingly support oriented... I dont think this skews the number so large it deserves the assumption, esp in OW where the M:F numbers arent that bad from role to role... DOTA2 that failed to have a Strength female hero for like 5 years or w/e (and Legion is a genderbend of the DOTA1 hero) is more culpable... but the female characters = female player assumption could play a role in the stereotype
