“ I know things are awkward and all but I just want to say that I’m not sorry about what happened between us. ” He kept his gaze steady as he studied Iggy, taking in her features, inwardly guessing what the woman was thinking. 

“ You look good. ” The initial shock of seeing them eventually wore off that he could finally offer them a small smile. A slightly painful smile, but a smile nonetheless. Seeing them here of all places, someone must have been toying with him. Hyunjae inwardly sighed, the familiar tingling in his chest slowly resonated and it took everything of him to remain still. Each passing moment that their eyes met, he could remember the sleepless nights, the self doubts and the void that almost--almost swallowed him. It was painful, but now it was nothing but a dull ache, Hyunjae suddenly realized. He keep his eyes on the other, taking in their features what changed and what didn’t. Time had been good for them--for the both of them.  “...How are you?” 

The rain had fallen the moment he had reached rosepoint. It was fortunate that he had brought his umbrella with him, as much as he likes rain he didn't want to be cold and soaking wet. Hyunjae sighed, adjusting his umbrella as he stared at the foaming waves as it crashed against the rocky cliff where he and the lighthouse stood on. He had always find listening to the crashing of waves as soothing, the louder the rumble the better. It was something that he done since then, it was the only thing that would distract him from remembering. He could feel another person not too far from him, watching him--maybe. How embarrasing. He probably looks like a weirdo. Hyunjae took a deep breath and turned around. "I'm sorry, did I disturb you?" he paused. "I didn't know people come here in this weather."
