Balticon, year 7!

Mokey is “Shadow Death” (with and without hood) and Wembley is “The Ragged Reaper” (What have these kids been reading?!?!) They aren’t the most intricate costume —that would be Balticon #5— but they were made in 12 minutes, so that’s something.

Balticon being cancelled won’t stop us from having our traditional fun! We have a whole “Homeicon” planned, beginning yesterday with the kids’ first watch of Star Trek: The Voyage Home and Diet Coke & Mentos explosions. 

Today is costume making, D&D, take out pizza (for the first time in over two months), Spirited Away and a “sleepover” in Wembley’s room—which is to say lots of time to play their self-created RPG and very little sleep.

Tomorrow we’re making Fairy gardens and foamy slime, watching Galaxy Quest and making crushed Oreo “Soot Sprites” in the afternoon.
