On May 18th, alongside (@IMWD2030), we join thousands of museums around the world in unleashing the power of museums by celebrating International Museum Day #IMD2022 @icomofficiel @icom.unitedstates. I began my museological research circa 1999 with an interest in Dr. Albert C. Barnes, the founder of the legendary collection of impressionists at The Barnes Foundation, in Philadelphia… As a trained art historian, and now a full-time visual artist, I continue to remain fascinated by the relationship between museums and collectors. 📸 These are a handful of images that I’ve taken over the past two plus decades at various museums that i’ve visited around the world.
