Dear girlfriend,You’re unbelievably smart and I know part of you knows it [how can you deny it when you’ve skipped a grade and you’ve been accepted to great colleges?] but part of you doesn’t think so because you’ve been dealt some crappy parents. I know you want them to be proud of you because they’re your parents, but I wish they didn’t have the ability to affect your self-esteem as much as they do. You’ve been pushed to be the best your entire life but they’ve always made you feel like you’re not as great as you actually are and they don’t give you enough credit or attention for your accomplishments. I don’t wanna give out stuff that’s too personal, so I’m gonna stop there and just say I wish you could see how smart you are and I wish you wouldn’t believe the shit they say especially when they say you won’t accomplish anything because that’s bullshit.You’re the nicest person I’ve ever met you never wanna risk hurting anyones feelings. You’re nice even to people who don’t treat you all that kindly. You inspire me to be less bitter and mean [still working on that sigh].You’re like a 12 out of 10 and you don’t see that and I actually wish you could and I wish your parents wouldn’t make you feel like you’re right about how you look because they should be building you up not knocking you down. You’re really funny and our sense of humor pretty much goes together perfectly (same with Eli, that’s why the 3 of us get on so well) and that’s actually pretty hard for me to find. I’ve tried making so many friends and it just doesn’t work out or I would try to find a girl to talk to and the conversations would just fall flat really fast because I’m pretty picky and I’m bored easily. I don’t mean to be, yo. It would be way easy to find friends and such if I could connect and communicate easier with different people but I really only can with a select few which sucks. From the first time we spoke I wanted to keep talking to you and you were easy for me to speak to and we connected really easily and I thought we could be friends but I had a crush on you too and eventually you figured that out. You’re my 2nd longest relationship so far but you’re definitely the healthiest and the most serious one and soon you’ll be my longest (hopefully...?). I like listening to you speak Bengali and I hope you can help me learn a bit of it. I like learning about your Bengali and Hindu cultures. I’m glad you’re not being put into an arranged marriage or else that would really fucking suck for us...I love you a lot and I’m always here if you need someone to talk to or if you need somewhere to stay (even though my house sucks...). I just want you to be happy.
