Farewell to comedic actress Betty While, who has passed away at age 99

RIP Thomas Sean Connery (25 August 1930 – 31 October 2020).  Sean was a Scottish actor most known for his role as James Bond in 7 films from  1962 to 1983.  His Bond roles include  Dr. No , From Russia with Love, Goldfinger , Thunderball , You Only Live Twice , Diamonds Are Forever, and Never Say Never Again.  Beyond those roles, he was also in films like The Wind and the Lion, Robin and Marian, A Bridge Too Far, The Untouchables, The Rock, and  The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.  He was knighted in Edinburgh in 2000.  He was married twice and had one son.  Michael Caine and Sean were close friends.

Both films feel very empty. Like the director is grabbing at a moral point that was never there to begin with.

On June 12, 1994, the day Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were murdered, O.J. Simpson's girlfriend Paula Barbieri left him a 30-minute-long message on his answering machine, breaking up with him and saying she was flying to Las Vegas to be with Michael Bolton. After Simpson was charged with the murders, Barbieri got back together with O.J. and stayed with him until after his acquittal. Though she’s no longer convinced of his innocence, She told the defense that Simpson had never been violent with her. In 1997 Barbieri wrote a book about their relationship, called The Other Woman: My Years With O.J. Simpson. Barbieri a former model and actress now lives out of the spotlight. She has been married to Judge Michael Overstreet since 2000.
