He thought of Icecloud, who caught more prey than anyone else in leaf-bare; of Foxleap, who lived to start snowball fights on border patrols; of Hazeltail, who despised the snow and all things chilly;

He thought of Minnowtail, who once told him that she thought Snowkit was the most darling name, and now she was expecting someone else's' kits.

"Yeah," Mousewhisker said, voice hollow. "They're all gone now."

I really don't know what I've done to deserve so many wonderful followers. All the comments on my writing and my Inquisitors, every time I get an ask in my inbox, every time I see a new follower jump into the pool with the rest... those things just mean SO much to me. I don't really have people in my life who enjoy Dragon Age or even video games quite like you people, so it really means so much that you're all following me, and I hope it's worth it. (I'm not crying... There's just something in my eye...)
