4.5 years ago I got a rash on both armpits from my razor and they got infected and it was awful. I got medication for it and eventually after a long time of not shaving it went away. And occasionally came back, and went away for a long time and within the last year I guess, has come back from shaving. So I don’t shave them that often because hey no one sees it and why make it worse. Anyway it got bad again after I shaved when I was overseas at the end of April. It was red and it would get really itchy at times. I was putting some coconut oil on it since it’s antifungal I think and I’d also make sure I washed them in the morning and at night with this liquid black soap and I’d use this African black soap lotion and usually no deodorant (which sounds gross but I swear I end up less smelly than if I used deodorant) and it started to get better.
So a week or so after I got back I went to my chiropractor who is also a holistic practitioner, and that day I told him I felt better than I had in a while. But when he energy/muscle tested me, he said I seemed to be coming out of some sort of infection, isn’t that strange because you said you were feeling so good. And after a few minutes of him doing chiropractic adjustments it dawned on me, I hadn’t told him about my armpits, because it always seems like they aren’t bothering me the day I see him and I forget. And so I told him and said well maybe that’s the infection you detected so he gave me these olive leaf pills and they seem to be helping a lot.
I’m pretty new to this holistic stuff and it still seems a little strange to me and I am still a little dubious about it. I mean, I guess I have one foot in giving it a chance/believing it and one foot in hmmmm I’m a little skeptical, let’s see. But so far there have been at least 2 times when he muscle tested me and told me something I realized later had some merit and I hadn’t told him anything related to it. But at the very least I do think he’s a good chiropractor and he helps me there. Also he put me on this Iodoral (and the companion B-vitamins) for my thyroid (which to be honest I was a little scared about) and I think that has helped me a bit too. Now if only I’d get some regular exercise I’d be in pretty good shape.
