#HOLINESS_TRAUMA Be holy for our God is holy and birds of the same feathers are always seen flying together. You can only walk with God when there is resemblance. Brethren, the church has enslaved us for decades with the notion that the heathen ought to be holy before they even come to church. I am sorry but rather, church is a place where God works on us to be holy. In the same vain, it’s only God that can make us holy. This trauma has eaten us to the extent that we try being but we fail. I was brought up in a church where putting on scarf was a holy act but today, it has become a thing of the past. Preachers and the church dwelt on the word holiness than any topic believing the more it was preached the better. This method failed. Jesus’ blood makes us holy as long us we believe and walk in it. All that God wants us to walk in is LOVE. You only please people you dearly love. You wouldn’t want them offended. When there’s no love, it is difficult to walk with God. Instead of looking at the God of love, we are keen on looking at the law of holiness. Folks, the more our focus is on the laws of holiness, the more we offend God.
