38. What is your “strong suit” as a writer?
idk if i’d call it my ‘strong suit’ but uhh internal monologue comes pretty easily to me? especially when it comes to billy’s character, bc it’s just. so easy to picture him as being incessantly battered by this hurricane of fragmented thoughts and memories and fixations and trying to make sense of the chaos around and inside of him. and my own way of thinking is the all-over-the-place, stream-of-consciousness kind anyway, so. that helps
39. What’s your favorite trope?
ohh man, the good ol’ angst with a happy ending is like. i’m so weak for that? it’s my bread, my butter, and my jam. reading it, writing it, obssessively thinking about it, it’s just. so good. so. good.
mutual pining and denial of feelings are also my kryptonite, like. that stuff just sends me into orbit every time. and especially for harrigrove i uhh kinda love the fuckbuddies refusing to acknowledge their feelings to idiots desperately in love trope bc it just. works for them
