Why I'm looking forward to going back to California...
- Seeing friends and family
- In-N-Out Burger
- Chipotle
- The beaches
- Watching the Premier League and Champions League at reasonable morning hours instead of at 2:00 or 4:30 am :p
- Driving a car
- Mexican food
Don't worry, Korea. I'll be back soon enough! 안녕히 계셰요!

Guess what...
이일 일본에 가요!
...I'm going to Japan in two days!
One more week left...
...and I'll be out of Korea, and going to Japan! If you're not jealous, then there's something wrong with you
I'm Free!! (...free falling)
All finished at Wonderland, my kindergarten in Korea. What a year...so much has happened since I started last February. I remember my first week, and how nervous, and out of place I felt. It was so intimidating, teaching 5 year olds.
Now, it’s like nothing at all. It’s funny to think about how easy something can get after you get comfortable with it. Teaching classes of young children is like second nature to me now. It was hard, really hard, and in some ways, painful. But, when I look back at all of the tears, the crying, the biting (!), long days of no breaks, difficult coworkers and management, and the incessant and inescapable loneliness, I have to ask, would I do it again if I had the choice?
Yes, definitely! Teachings the students, and being with them for the year, was a pleasure. So much fun, and I would say that I learned so much, about as much as they did :)
...but I'm still glad to be finished and to be moving on to the public school ^^
