📓 !
(first of all hi can i just say i'm absolutely obsessed with if wishes were falling stars? obsessed. i regularly forget it isn't official warriors canon. i'm writing something inspired by it. anyway.)
holy oak i pray to you
basically the premise here is that we're revisiting that (half-clan) kits belong in their mother's clan and having tigerheart join thunderclan with dovewing.
tigerheart survives his death without getting nine lives because *mumble mumble handwaving.* tawnypelt becomes tawnystar. ivypool is happy dovewing returned, less happy that she returned with tigerheart, very happy she returned with kits (cuties!!!).
there's not a Ton of plot for it which is why it's on standstill, but tigerheart is kind of coming Full Circle what with being a tigerstar clone named tiger returning to thunderclan. but in doing so he gives up his ambition and...yeah. usually i am very much pro-shadowclan dovewing, but in this case, i want to explore the idea that tigerheart is liberated by this. he doesn't have to redeem his own name. he, too, gets a chance to just be himself.
bramblestar is pretty welcoming (tigerheart is his sister's kit, and tawnypelt was born in thunderclan, and), but the rest of thunderclan is...not. they're not happy about this. ivypool grows to be one of his biggest supporters.
because of dovewing.
and totally not because they're friends.
no. it's just for dovewing's sake. definitely.
and yeah! that's as much as i've figured out. here's the current iteration of the first scene:
Dovewing dreamt of ivy.
She watched it wither, crumble, fall.
("Together forever, right?" Ivypaw asked her.
"Of course," Dovepaw said, touching her nose.)
She woke with fear shaking in her bones.
"We're going back," she said. "We're going back to ThunderClan."
"Are you sure?" Tigerheart asked. He rested his head near hers. "We don't have to."
She knew he wanted to return to ShadowClan, but she had the right and obligation to return to ThunderClan, if she went back, and he would follow.
"Yes," she said. "StarClan sent an omen. It's time for us to leave."
Her kits were stretched around her. She would miss this peaceful time, and their nest. She liked it here.
She might have stayed here.
But regardless of what her sister thought, Dovewing was loyal. So they were leaving, going back to ThunderClan.
Today.

and bonus, since i mentioned it indirectly and it's only fair:
reverence and honor (zeus delights in thunder)
i don't have a good Fancy Summary of this yet, but it's basically "in offering to hestia" iteration of hailstar and echomist. specifically, i want to explore the idea that hailstep (kit-of-a-leader) hurts his clanmate real bad, echopaw's feelings on forgiving him, and then like.
well getting into crookedstar's promise part of canon when hailstar makes some big bad stupid decisions wrt kits and doesn't listen to his wife and he has to make it up to her.
and here's the first bit of that...
Echopaw doesn't mean to get in Hailstep's way.
She means to avoid the ThunderClan warrior lashing out at her. She's only just finished her first season of training, and she's only just started to learn more than the basics.
So she backs up, and stumbles into Hailstep, and before she knows what's happening, it's his claws latching into her side and shoving her back.
ThunderClan left her alone after that.
+ bonus of:
Nightpetal crouches in front of Echopaw.
"I'm sorry," she says. "I...I don't know what to say, actually."
