WAIT META SUGGESTION idk if you've answered this exactly?? like i know u talk abt the council but how does he feel abt other angels in general??
Michael deeply loves his people, and he honestly wishes the best for them. The angels are the only reason he bothers playing his role as the Archangel. He feels he owes it to them to protect them from demons, but from the insidious forces on the inside.
Whereas he’s cruel or indifferent with humans, he’s kind to the angels, for the most part. ESPECIALLY those of lower rank. It’s not uncommon to see him lingering in the commons. As it is his belief that one cannot rule his people without truly understanding them. Whereas other archangels are far too occupied with their duties to be concerned with the needs of the lower ranking angels, Michael is the only archangel to make time for them.Â
With the other archangels, it’s an entirely different case. Michael’s stance on the archangels is mixed. Some, he adores-- like Uriel. But others, he despises. Barachiel being one of them. Gabriel is akin to FILTH to him-- traitorous filth. Lucifer.... well, that’s an entirely different post, isn’t it?
Michael does have an unspoken frustration with his kin, however. He wishes they be free to pursue their individuality. To seek their own desires and beliefs, instead of being bound to their duty like mindless drones. They should not be slaves, but a people.
