It's November... why are people still debating the meaning of hogosha??? it's nearly been a year since the word was used in an interview or wherever it first came up concerning HNY

Protecting Something You Are Holding In Your Arms From the Outside
When my little sister and I were babies, our mother would put on and change our diapers, she took care in protecting us from outside things. This spring, my little sister had her school entrance ceremony, and my mother went along with her as her guardian (hogosha).
Please look at the character that makes up the "ho" (保) in hogosha (保護者). The character 呆 of "ho" (保) is made up of 子 (child) and a diaper symbol. It expressed the imagery of a baby being wrapped up in a diaper, and thus being preciously protected.
The character ⺅ (person) is combined with 呆 , pronounced "ho" or "hou" (protect). This has the meaning of protecting something that you are holding in your arms from the outside, protecting something from the outside and keeping it safe, and so forth.
