ANNOUNCING PARA EVENT: THE REAPING

Location: Augusta Correctional Center, Craigsville VA Event: Para Challenge Time: Sunday, September 14th at 12 noon EST

There’s a destination now, a place only Jessica Clarke can navigate through the thick, dark fog to. Crucified corpses continue to line the streets, signs of gore and trouble ahead, but the older woman only tells Kris to keep going. The whispers in the fog grow louder with each passing mile until chills appear along people’s skin from the feeling that someone is breathing down their neck. But the voices are excited to finally have more visitors. 

The fight is unavoidable. It’s been a looming shadow over them since the fog settled around their bodies. Those who have chosen to fight are strapped with weapons, gulping down their fear while the others wait in the cars parked just down the road, prepared to slam on the gas if need be. It will be bloody. It will be difficult. It may be the last moment some people ever have, but it is necessary. This group was founded on brotherhood, and they will not lose more of their kin to the suffocating fog. Together, they are going into battle to bring back the ones that were taken from them and to send this demon back to whatever hell it crawled out from.

A large prison casts a malicious shadow over the armed soldiers as vague, black outlines of more crucified corpses litter the dense fog around them, suggesting a field of God’s children already called home. And the voices cry out in celebration before a deafening silence crashes into the air.

FOR THE PLAYERS:

For this event, it’s a group effort to hold back the enemy, rescue the missing people and eliminate the demon.

Please make sure your submit box is open as each pair will be receiving a mission to accomplish.

Partners will be announced Friday, September 12th. Please take the opportunity on Saturday to plot and discuss the para with your partner.

Paras/mini-paras should be started Sunday, but they can be finished up any time over the next week.

Any/all characters are still welcome to start up any gif chats/convos regardless of whether they participate in the para aspect, but please be mindful of the missions we have assigned and check with the admins before endowing yourself with one.

Writers with multiple characters must “like” with each character they would like to participate with, so we can keep an accurate count.

NOTE: Any injury sustained by a character, minus cuts and bruises, must be run by an admin first. Broken bones, stab wounds, massive burns, zombie bites, etc - please seek admin approval. (We don’t want half the group to be on their death beds after this.)

PARA EVENT: HUNT FOR SUPPLIES

Location: Afton, VA

Event: Para Challenge- Hunt for Supplies

Time: Sunday, July 20th at 12 noon EST

With the amount of members joining the group steadily increasing, the group is running out of necessary supplies. Medicine, food, clothes, water, fuel… basic and everyday items that get frequently used need to be restocked. There are houses nearby, and since the area seems fairly empty, it might be a good place to search. There will be four people to a house and a buddy system in place so there are no unnecessary losses. Everyone will have an assignment of things to try and retrieve, but who knows what other dangers may be lurking inside the fog or the abandoned homes themselves.

House 1

Abandoned 2-story house. It seems fairly untouched, though there are some corpses of the family that had lived there in the upstairs bedrooms and at one time it seems like they had been attempting to board up the downstairs windows.

House 2

Medium sized, single story house. Heavy water damage to the roof, and a lot of debris left in the living space. The basement can only be accessed from the outside and appears to be padlocked.

House 3

Two-story house with attached garage and obvious signs of violence left behind. It seemed like someone had attempted to barricade themselves inside an upstairs bathroom.

House 4

Large, three-story house. Has been ransacked and heavily vandalized, though it seems like nothing was actually taken, not even survival supplies. There are strange messages written on the walls in every room.

House 5

Two-story family home that has been boarded up from the outside. Inside everything is untouched, as if the family had left and hoped to one day come back, however there are deep claw marks on the walls and one window is shattered.

House 6

The small, two story house and cluttered workshop close to the woods. The house was being renovated when the world ended and has been left wide open, so the first floor is every bit as fog filled as outside. The workshop is so filled with old furniture, broken tools and half-finished projects thats it’s almost impossible to move.

House 7

The two story house looks like a bomb went off towards the back. There looks like there was a horrible fire, but no signs that anyone was hurt and no sign of what really caused it. The first floor is wrecked but there still appears to be things to salvage upstairs. The finished basement is the most structurally sound, barely appearing touched.

Parking Lot

The parking lot of the motel is filled with abandoned cars, most from before the Apocalypse by the looks of things. They are just sitting and waiting to be broken into. It’s a job that keeps everyone close to the base of operations.

ANNOUNCING ANNIVERSARY EVENT: SECOND COMING

Location: Quantico, Virginia Event: Anniversary Event Time: Begining Sunday, April 27th - Tuesday, April 29th

All at once, the world goes dark. Again. Every living person goes unconscious, only to wake up changed and more powerful than they were before. It's a new world, a much more dangerous one, and they will have to adapt.

FOR THE PLAYER:

If you haven't contacted an admin about your character losing memory, not waking back up, or getting hurt -- then your character will be waking up with no issues. They will just be more powerful.

If you plan to post an open, please be aware of how many opens have already been posted. Make sure you reply to at least one other open -- (Please help us make sure all opens are replied to!)

This event is not optional. Your character WILL lose consciousness.

ANNOUNCING ANNIVERSARY EVENT: SECOND COMING

Location: Quantico, Virginia Event: Anniversary Event Time: Begining Sunday, April 27th - Tuesday, April 29th

It’s been a year since the world first ended. The world stopped and only a few chosen woke back up again. They woke up changed. They’ve spent a year learning how to survive, learning their powers, and trying to make this world their own. They’ve thought the worst was behind them. 

How wrong they were. 

The world ended on a Sunday, it is doing so again. Late Sunday night, every human in the world will unexpectedly go unconscious, just as they’d done a year ago. Those that wake back up will be changed once more, more powerful than ever, but will they remember? The world itself will be a far more dangerous place than it has ever been. 

The war has started.

FOR THE PLAYER:

Your character will go unconscious, there are no exceptions. Though we hope everyone makes it through the event, if you choose to have your character not wake back up from this second coming, please run it by an admin first. This means your character will not survive and will be dropped from the RP.

There is the possibility of a memory wipe. The extent of the memory loss is entirely up to you. If you choose to have your character’s memory wiped, please contact an admin first, as we want to limit the amount of characters this will affect.

Everyone who is waking back up should do so by the end of April 28th.

If your characters is a magi: Please look through the specializations announcement. Your character’s powers may have changed! If you have questions about your power, please contact an admin.

ANNOUNCING MINI EVENT: EASTER RISING

Location: Quantico Marine Base, VA Event: Mini Event Time: Sunday, April 20th

Sunday starts unusually dark and overcast, with an ominous feeling hanging in the air. It becomes apparent why when the corpses the group has already buried and put to rest start to rise from their grave. On one side of the wall is a group of freshly risen dead, and on the other stand men with guns and the magi with a necromancer's power that's brought them back. It's the group's job to try and survive it.

Any injury, monster encounter other than regular zombies, or other plot events (such as people being left behind or separated from the group) must be run by an admin first.
