Y'know what, I was holding off posting this for some reason but honestly I just wanted to post something, so! The Heroes!

Wanted to try a movie poster-esque style for this one and I'm happy with how everyone in the background came out (except for Sable, I think she maybe needs more work). Originally this was just going to be an underdrawing/style test for a more finished painting, but I just kind of left it like this (that's why there's a big dark smudge behind Reese's ears that I forgot to erase).

Hello everyone! I really haven't touched this blog in a while, huh.

I want to apologise for being absent for so long. After page 16 of the comic, my mental health took a huge nosedive and I still haven't really recovered from it, but am getting help now. Unfortunately this put a stop to page production as I wanted each page to be perfect and not be tainted due to my mental health issues.

However over the course of the last couple of years, I have decided to rework HOAV into my own original story. This project really means a lot to me, and while its roots will always be in Animal Crossing, I think that the premise and lore set it very far apart from that. So, the new name of the story will be Heroes of Ashihara Village! I'm currently still in the process of fine-tuning the plot and renaming characters, but I am determined to work on it again one day.

In the meantime, I have made a wiki for HOAV! Visit it at https://hoav.fandom.com. You'll notice a lot of new names and a lot of old ones, but I hope you enjoy seeing my progress. The wiki will be continuously updated whenever I'm able to.

I have also been doing a few HOAV-related projects, such as standalone comic panels and even pages from parts of the story. I'd love to be able to post these over here, so expect that sometime soon hopefully!

Also, the HOAV 'prologue', Silent Stars. I really would love to finish this too, but I'm still trying to make it work with the new HOAV plot. Maybe I'll write it as it was first intended to be, as an Animal Crossing fanfiction, just to get it out there finally. When I work out the plot I can always update it or change things to be more original.

That's about all from me! Though alongside HOAV things I've actually been working on another, more ridiculous parody of the Hollow Knight series, called Dope Knight. I've been writing it in the meantime and you can find the written version here, and the comic adaptation over here (warning for lots of obscenities in both)!

Let’s face it, Redd probably thought Tsuneflare here was his dad before he met Rowan... Introducing Tsuneflare! I’ve wanted to show off the group that he comes from so badly, but I can’t do that until December unfortunately ;-; but here’s one of them anyway! Tsuneflare is the first fire hero, and you may have seen his name on Redd’s ref—however that’s all I can reveal right now! I’ve been wanting to draw these two together for ages. Redd always gets mad when someone is taller than him, so you can imagine his anger (and slight fear) when he discovers this gigantic god of a kitsune lmao.
