Living the fast-paced life in New York City, I forget I grew up in this beautiful nature fulled wonderland! This weekend we launch @hm new conscious sport line made of recycled materials. I celebrate when brands are working on new technologies in textiles. How are we ever going to create the change we want to see if we don’t start building it. This trip was enlightening. I hung with old friends, made new friends, worked on centering myself and my intentions for this year. Also, I learned some new processes and practices @hm are implementing and utilizing in their products and with their factory supply chains. As a consumer, we all need to educate ourselves and take responsibility for what we purchase. If you choose to buy new items for your wardrobe, be sure you're mindful of the life of the products. When you're done with them you can take them back to @hm and get a percentage off your next purchase. They will either recycle the items for new products, reuse the items but turn them into dish rags or other useful things, or they donate it to the second-hand market.
