The story unfolds on the planet Tarun: a beautiful, rich, and astonishingly diverse planet named after the fallen Sun God. The adventure begins on the continent of Lumaria, where the solar magic is an integral part of every creature's life, and where all is filled with vibrant energies, the magic of light, and the colors of nature. Where the north is the massive ridges of Mount Dornar, and the center is the majestic human capital Naar'Shael welcomes guests from far-away places and nearby villages. Where the east is rich with vast forests, and the west - with endless fields. Where the wind from the South brings the salty scent of the Velus Sea, and each and every corner holds its own secrets and powers.

On the Day of Great Joy, the earth cracked open to release a horde of starving demons. The streets got painted a terrifying crimson. The main character of the story is a simple farmer named Damian, who dared to save a life of a stranger amidst the bloody carnage and found himself drawn into a conspiracy far more terrifying, dangerous, and elaborate than it first seemed.

The Accidental Hero — Damian

The protagonist Damian is humble farmer. Once he happened to find himself in the right place at the right time, and this forged a new path in his destiny. For a simple act of kindness, he will have to pay a great price and embrace another man's burden. Mistakes are not an option.

The Enchanted Hero — Lavian

A prince. Lavian was the heir to the throne. His life was carefully planned for years to come. He was awaiting the moment he would ascend to the throne, but treacherous, vile hands ruthlessly cast him into the abyss, leaving no choice but to flee. For the restoration of justice, he will have to pay with perseverance, and try not to drown in a longed-for revenge.

The Noble Heroine — Velavel

A knight. Velavel swore to protect the innocent, uphold justice, and never let go of her sword. However, the resentment desperately burns in her eyes, and fears within make her hands tremble. For a difficult duty, she will have to pay with the truth.

The Thoughtful Hero — Killian

A herbalist. Killian’s thirst for knowledge was always both his gift and his curse. The desire to unveil other peoples' secrets brought him only sorrow, yet his determination and the great goal kept him away from the wrong path. For healing deep, festering wounds, he will have to pay with forgiveness.

The Doubting Hero — Azar

A rider. Azar had always led a calm, modest life and was content with everything he had. The past scratched at his heart only rarely, and only with the very tip of a sharp claw, but life would always hide this experience beneath layers and layers of new memories. He wanted nothing to change. He never wanted to return to what he had breathed freely without. For a peaceful life, he will have to pay by betraying himself.

The Enigmatic Heroine — Mara

Appears when the time comes.

This is not an interactive story but a book, though you could call it a "kinetic novel". I plan to transfer this book on Twine. So, later you will be able to read while listening to music, looking at backgrounds, and always having a lore guide and dictionary at hand.
