I’m chillin by the river with my family and some guy I’m apparently on a date with this guy. Anyways, I swam out to this rock because it was massive and I gotta go sit on any giant rock I see and while I’m up there enjoying the rock I look over and my date is stealing some kind of robot chair thing. The cops show up because obviously this robot chair is expensive and they arrest him. This is when things REALLY heat up aka that’s when Macklemore shows up. He immediately gets arrested too, for reasons unknown. I wake up out of pure shock.

Featured at almost every slumber party in the years 2003-2004, “Come Clean” expressed the feeling of wanting to “feel the thunder” and wanting to “scream”. In 2008, controversy hit and it hit hard with the release of the remix. The upbeat yet somber tone was replaced by a dank bass and techno sounds. Young girls no longer sang along in their bedrooms while playing M.A.S.H with their friends, they now adorned leather pants and carried around purses full of loose pills to clubs where they slithered and snaked around to the auto tuned version of a song about redemption but there will be no redemption for these pre teens.
