Week 7 into training - Week 7 marks a turning point in my running adventures: I passed the 50km/week count. Building up slowly but steadily the training, I progressively evolved to running a half marathon as a training session. Not without any pain but I made it. This reminded me when I ran my first 20k: I was doing my usual morning jog around the lake while living in Hamburg. One loop was about 7k, I ran 2 of those and since I still felt good decided to push it to a 3rd loop. Since then, I was no longer afraid of this amount of kilometers to do in one go. Today, I’m aiming at another number.
