i don’t like it and i say that because nearly every instance of Riven/Irelia written or drawn either has a) Riven is a ~tsundere~ after Irelia’s affections, who seems too stupid to notice, orb) Riven’s character is bent so far into one dimension - namely that her guilt about what she’s done is Ionia -that she’s just filled to the brim with remorse and on her knees in front of Irelia just begging!! for forgiveness ( and ONLY Irelia, nevermind Karma or exploring these interactions too? or literally any other Ionian? ) and Irelia responds to her with lukewarm interest that somehow ends up in them making out
in either case, i don’t care for how misconstrued her character is to make it happen and until i see a believable portrayal, i’m convinced this one is just for the ones who like to rub one out to ‘hot warrior girls’.
( all said, i put ‘ok’ because i have a specific set up with @ascendantblades that veers into occasional friend-with-benefits territory, but after a healthy platonic relationship is established and trust exists )
