What Defines Me

I am Malaelupe Alosio Tangi-Vili Samifua. I am Samoan, Tongan, Wallisian, Puerto Rican, British, Chinese and German. I am a Son of Savai’inaea M. Samifua and Anita Agalelei Vili. I am the brother to many siblings. I am from the villages of Nua ma Se’etaga, Vailoa, Leone, Faleasi’u, Taga and Ma’ufanga (Tonga). I am a worship pastor at Samoan Christian Fellowship Church in Des Moines, WA. I am a singer. I am an employee at Wal-Mart in Renton, WA. I am pursuing a career in education and/or education policy. I am an advocate for youth. I am an advocate for social justice. I am afraid of failure. I am overweight but working on it. I am in love with Pokemon Go. I am scared that I might end up alone.
All these things describe who I am but what REALLY defines me is that I AM HIS.
