âHoly shit.â Steven stopped in his tracks, almost dropping the coffee in his hands when he saw the other man standing there. Okay, this wasnât fair, not at all. Heâd come back here to make sure that the other man got home alright and wound up falling asleep on the couch. Heâd gotten up early enough to get them both coffee, but now he was all kinds of distracted.
âI uh, I went out out and got coffee and donât take this the wrong way butâthat shirt looks great on you.â
Startled into silence, TJ wordlessly tugged the shirt down despite how it only just skimmed his bare thighs. He remembered the night before, how the other had helped him home and then how he had gone to bed alone - TJ was quite thankful, in a way, it was almost as though he was turning over a new leaf.Â
âI didnât think you would come back,â TJ said softly, voice raspy from a night of singing and drinking. He had been about to say that he would go put pants on when Stephen talked again. âI - Thank you?â What on earth was TJ supposed to say to that? âThanks, it looks better on the floorâ? He could, but he wasnât quite sure how that would go down.
