*flash back* Bless little Bellamy π’ has he never not been worried in his life? I will forever be bitter that at 6 years old Bellamy's mom told him his sister was his responsibility. *present camp*Lol Clarke is still so salty about the radio. But she can't say no to those puppy eyes...who could? Speaking of eyes look at Bellamy's face when Clarke says "I'm not doing this for you" I think that stung him more then it should have & he's surprised by his own reaction to the jab. The first appearance of "grimy" Octavia poor baby. Jasper back at it with being brave when someone he cares for is in trouble. Oh Finn. Is it weird I like him less after the haircut? "It's nothing we can't stop" lol Clarke is like yeah, that ship has sailed buddy. Seeing Raven so angry at Bellamy is so weird now. I've always thought Raven was like the "female" version of Bellamy. Short tempered, a little reckless, emotional, devoted. This is one of the reasons I've never "shipped" them. Oh Finn & Clarke you guys are not subtle Raven knows somethings up. Jasper will follow Bellamy every time. He doesn't even question it. Survivor Octavia is the most badass Octavia. She will not go gently into the cold dark night. "My sister, my responsibility" (I still love the fact that Bob ad-libbed that line. He knows Bellamy so well.) after he says "you can turn back if you want" "I'd walk into hell to find her" is Jaspers response, oh jasper my hero!buddy! & Finn is like "I think we just did" but the way he says it bugs me, it's like Octavia doesn't matter enough to him for this to be worth it. This is why I say Finn is selfish, because if it was Clarke missing....well you know how he reacts when she goes missing in Ssn 2 π³ but since it's not someone he "loves" he's not as worried or willing. Maybe I'm just being extra harsh lol *flashback* Awww Bellamy needs to give some random kids pony rides in season 4 βΊοΈ "Yeah mom tell us how you're never surprised by surprise inspections" you can hear the twinge of bitterness in his voice. He knows exactly how she knows. This I think weighs on him. I think it may be one of the reasons he has so much respect for women (I know he sleeps around, but I bet you he didn't make the first move on any of them) & also why he would never force his affection on Clarke. He doesn't want to be like the "men" he saw growing up. Since he didn't have any father in his life, the guards & men that "visited" his mom would be the most interaction he had with men (IMO) That's why he stayed soft & nurturing. Because his only "healthy"(not really)role model was his mother. So he protects, & provides for his "family" no matter what that costs him personally, be it his health, his body, his own life, his soul. Because that's what he was taught. & Octavia was taught "to not be afraid" to "Slay her demons" that's a very violent image when you think about it. I think this may be why she reacts so violently to everything.if something threatens her, she must "slay it" they are both products of their environment. This whole scene with the grounders is super creepy & well done. Incase anyone needs reminding this is how the grounders treated the "Sky people" on the reg, no innocent cupcakes except Lincoln (mostly) "Hurry up & save the world right?" Oh Raven if only you knew how true that statement will be. Back to the running. Oh impaled. Bellamy "must save all my children Blake" is emerging again. Lincoln just saved Octavia again. Oh impaled again,Poor Roma. "Innocent" grounders my foot! *flashback* This whole scene makes me emotional. He's so excited to surprise her! His precious not seen enough smile. She's so excited! Bless her tiny heart. "Wanna go for a walk?" This shot is so beautiful he offers her his hand & then leads her to the doorway, the camera cuts to her feet & she lingers nervously rubbing a foot to her ankle. The soft music, the walk to the window..the swell in the score here, her delight, his happiness in seeing hers. I.can't.take.it. Lol Jasper checking out Octavia.man she acclimates well, her first outside interaction is like 200 people. Silent mean looking Lincoln. I totally forgot about how he chains her up. Grounders that are in love am I right? Oh the discovery of Roma. Bellamy's wide eyed guilt (Bobs eyes convey so much emotion) "she only came because of me" ya know after this is when I think Bellamy stopped attaching himself to any of the girls. Probably out of guilt or shame, we don't see him with anyone else until Raven. *flash back* Crap. Solar alert. Bellamy is legit ready to do something crazy & get floated for it just to keep her safe. "Bell, how do I get home?" Oh his face. In that moment he realizes he just lost everything he loves. "Just let us walk out of here & I'll do anything you want. Anything." Omg Bellamy would've legit killed & died for Octavia, he knew his mom did what she "did" to keep them safe. Oh gosh guys what if Bellamy was saying he'd do THAT to keep Octavia safe? Can you break my heart anymore Bellamy Blake? Raven finally confronting Clarke about Finn. "He could've waited more than 10 days" oh Raven we are all with you on that one hun. I love how her & Clarke have a healthy confrontation, it's not catty. There's no hair pulling or screaming. It was a healthy fight. Octavia being badass & saving herself knocking Lincoln out all on her own. Bellamy to the rescue just in case. "It's okay, you're okay" Blake hugs are the sweetest π *cut to flashback* Bellamy looking at the empty work table of his mothers... Such sadness in his eyes, I bet he looks at that table every time he comes home. Wishing their faces would be there to warmly greet him. He's so alone. Oh hey jerkface shumway, coming to inflict more pain on This broken boy eh? "Is she okay?"(Note his voices cracks the same way saying this as it does when he asks it about Clarke to Abby in the season 3 finale) of course he'll shoot someone just so his sister won't die alone. Ahhhhh. *back to cave* Octavia lunges for Jasper. His bravery rewarded once more with a hug π Bellamy about to spear Lincoln "they started this" see guys he's already done with grounders at this point, let alone season 3. Lincoln's awake! Stabs Finn wrestles with Bellamy & spear "stop! That's my brother!!" That stops Lincoln long enough for hero!Jasper to knock him out! Octavia's plea saves Bellamy's life Lincoln successfully having him pinned, spear at his throat.(side note Bellamy is pinned by a grounder with a blade to his throat in a cave in season 3 but the pleading of a woman that loves him saves his life, except this time it's Clarke saving him from Roan. Hello parallels.) Coming back to camp, Jasper is helping Octavia walk & Bellamy "dad!hero!" Blake is literally carrying Finn, princess style. You know they had to have walked a couple miles at least. Bellamy is a freakin' beast. "Bellamy wouldn't let me take the knife out" Jasper, still in hero mode. "no that was a good call" Clarke yet again affirming Bellamy's leadership abilities.(check out his face in that scene, his eyes shoot straight down, because he still doesn't know how to accept positive reenforcement from someone.) Raven & Clarke putting their feelings aside to save Finn. Yes. Blake fight : "everything that's gone wrong is because of you" even this early in the show Octavia is angry & blames Bellamy for everything. "my life ended the day you were born" Bellamy can give it right back. He's bitter & resentful for having to grow up so fast & he has so much guilt because he really believes everything is his fault. He couldn't save his mom or Octavia. His career was taken. Now he's trying to keep 90+ kids alive while grounders are spearing them left & right. Bellamy just needs to relax. For like a solid year. But alas "storms coming" Phew! This was a long one! If you made it to the end thanks for reading :) My message box & ask box are open if you have anything to add :)
