“LOOK  alive.”  A  smack  to  the  back.  Right  between  shoulder  blades.  Followed  by  kiss  to  forehead.  It’s  harmless,  really.  Just  a  display  of  affection  he  felt  needed  at  times.  It’s  a  personal  thing  of  his,  to  freely  offer  the  chaste  displays  when  in  the  right  mindset  and  level  of  comfort.  “We’re  heading  out  in  ten.  Think  you’re  well-rested  enough  to  keep  up  this  time – ?”

GLADIOLUS  is  well  aware  of  Noctis’  favorite  hobby.  Thus  the  early  disturbance  of  slumber.  The  sun’s  just  right,  wind’s  not  too  strong -  it’s  ideal.  It  was  a  chance  for  them  to  have  a  little  bonding  moment  on  their  own.  Gladio  held  firm  for  the  young  prince’s  sake,  waits  patiently  for  him  to  blink  away  the  grips  of  sleep,  then  presses  onward.  He  stretches  in  the  morning  sun.  Relishes  the  warmth  and  crisp  air  with  a  pop  of  joints  and  GRIN.  Let  it  be  known  that  Gladio  is  taking  them  a  bit  off-path  for  this  specific  fishing  spot.  Which  would  entail  a  bit  of  rock-leaping  and  log  climbing.  Nothing  too  difficult.  “Let’s  see  if  there’s  something  worthwhile  in  the  water.”

I  know  Gladio  is  a  downright  flirt  but  honestly  I  would  think  he  secretly  wants  someone  to  marry  lmao,,  he  craves  that ?  i  guess  romantic  stability  in  his  life  as  he  gets  older  even  if  it’s  impossible  when  Noctis  is  still  alive  and  well.  Too  busy  for  it,  and  yet,  he  wishes  for  it.
