Ava had wanted to seek Armitage out the second that she had come around after being rescued.  She remembered those last few second before she’d been frozen and all she could think about the was fact that she was leaving her son alone with that man.  Brendol wasn’t a father and he wasn’t someone she ever believed she could have cared about. What Ava should have done was run the second she found out that she was pregnant.

      Lips pressed in a tight line, Kylo keeps his eyes on the stars outside as Hux approaches. It’s been bad news after bad news, his subordinates screwing up over and over. And he’s beginning to grow TIRED of it.

     “General Hux. I hope YOU bring good news, at least.” 

     “Fine, you wanna stay here and melt in that stupid uniform, that’s your problem.” What was the reason behind such stubbornness, she asked. If he refused any kind of help -- not that she was offering it happily, giving his past  --, why stay? He could go away. Or not even search for them at all. Unless he was really that desperate at first. But why remain there? Even though the Resistance wouldn’t be fond of deserters, obviously, everyone was wary of him, enough to let go if he decided to leave. He was a former General of the First Order, the responsible for so many deaths. What if he betray them, they all thought. Not Rey. She wasn’t glad, but she believed in him.

Ren's expression doesn't change as Hux tries to argue his point, he even lets the General finish speaking but his hand comes up to still the man before he can consider walking away. He doesn't appreciate Hux lying to him about his state, such a thing might not affect the duties he needs to do but were it to spread to the rest of the ship the same could not be said for every officer. The last thing they need on such an enclosed vessel is a virus and he's undeniably irritated at Hux for not using forethought - instead his stubborn nature seems to be clouding his judgement.

❝– I'd much rather allow someone else to do your duties at a slower pace than have you spreading sickness throughout the ship.❞

With his point made, he releases his hold, irritation painted across his features. If he ends up having to force the man to rest then he'll do so but he hoped it wouldn't come to that.

❝– You should know by now you can't lie to me. You need to rest, General.❞
