See the Hispanic Elvis Statue in the middle of us? We walked over, attempted ( and failed) to get a selfie. We moved multiple times trying to get a good angle..we marvelled at how the texture of his skin looked so life like! A few minutes later Sacha asked a lady to take a photo for us. We posed some more and waited for people to move out of the way etc. Then we took this shot. We stood there some more while we checked the photos to see if they were good. THEN he moved 😂. Its a flipping real person!!! The whole restaurant was in hysterics as we jumped and screamed. I'm dead right now. Dead. He also had a full mouth of gold teeth, and I feel like a freaking moron P.s. his stchick is NOT that he pretends to be a statue..he actually impersonates elvis. So this was classic. As I was leaving the square, I heard this guy singing Richie Valens so naturally, I ventured towards him. He was lovely and unfortunately it was early so wasn’t much of a crowd, but I also loved Elvis on the left. About 30 minutes later when I reached my next store @felizmodern across town, I opened the “Humans of San Antonio” book and second page I flipped to was the Elvis guy!! Swipe to see!
