I’ve been reblogging on my nsfw/porn blog since Halloween 2013 (I would have bet right before I checked the oldest post just now that it might have been a year or two) and I’ve got 2.500 posts there. Which compared to my BTW with 15k posts since January 2013 doesn’t seem much. But for a nsfw blog where I once in a while reblog?
It kinda shocked me that it was actually worth making a separate blog for the nsfw reblogs to this extent.
Dear fanfiction writers
Please stop forcing yourself to put porn into fics when it makes you uncomfortable writing it, when it doesn’t fit into the story or just to get a few more notes/viewers/kudos.
Porn doesn’t make a good fanfic. (Unless it’s a porn fic obv.)
It also doesn’t make a "bad" fanfic better.
Your writing style does. Your story does. The character development does. And so on.
Porn is a nice bonus, but that’s all it is. Just because everyone likes it, doesn’t mean you have to include it. There are a lot of people that are just as happy with a long fic that simply has fluff, domestic relationships and action.
