Working on a couple of shoji doors with pine hipboards. I was introduced to Rubio Monocoat polishes recently and have found them pretty nice to use. There is a pre mixing process, but it makes up for the fact that I only need to do a single coat. No more multiple sanding and re-polishing. I like the finished texture and it does brings out the grains of the timber.
I have used it on multiple hardwoods like oak and walnut, but am trying it on pine this time.
This post is not sponsored by Rubio. Just an independent woodworker giving an honest review. Looking forward to trying out their other products soon.
Oh, I have to mention that they are 0% VOC too. which is great for your lungs.
