Latest hip update: OW.
But also, chance of a herniated disc is low based on the x-rays. While you need a CT or MRI to see the soft bits, apparently the way the spine bends and shows space in an xray can tell the doc if it's likely. My spine gaps looked great, apparently (neat).
With the new symptoms (burning sensation, partial numbness, electric shock feel), the guess is a nerve is getting fucked with due to inflammation and that doing PT basically made THAT pain get through the other pain (not neat).
Anyway, big ass anti-inflammatories for two weeks, then go back to the doc the week after and anything that still hurts meets Mr. Big Needle (steroids).
And then, if that works, probably back to PT to finish this round of unfuckening. I am still doing a little bit of PT exactly to the rules set by the therapist.
I am hoping to be in less pain by comic con, which is the end of August. Not looking for no pain, just a drop.
