The sounds of footsteps caught attention of the female as she took a stroll down the city, mostly because the said footsteps were approaching closer to her and once she turned around, the sight of a familiar face with a faint smile on his lips had her eyes widened. Those flame colored hues widened, taking a second or two in order to make sure that she wasn’t imagining up or dreaming, until he was speaking that is. His words registered in her ears, though they were unusual given how she knew the male wasn’t someone to be much about verbal conveying, but that just made it means all the more to her.
"Kumori!" An exclamation of his name in pure delight before she rushed over to the male, and before she knew it, her arms came around him in a big hug, pulling him close to her out of bliss and for months that she hadn’t seen him. It felt far too long since the last time they saw or talked to one another, but he was here. A tight embrace before she gently loosened her arms around him a little, just enough for her to lean back and see his face again.
"I missed you too! A lot! Where have you been!? Traveling out of town? You didn’t tell me anything! Have you been alright? How are you?" Hikaru, you aren’t the one to talk when you disappeared for quite some time too. But that didn’t matter to her, she missed seeing him. It had been way too long, so much that she glomped him out of surprise.
Warmth surrounded him once the words left his lips, her arms tightly wrapped around him as if he'd leave her but he would not. Not desiring to part from the friend that he had harbored deep feelings of friendship and adoration for, it was odd-- but that's how he felt. Rarely one to ever grow feelings of attachment it seemed that the female had found her way into his heart. A feat not easily made. Without missing a beat his own arms found their way around her and locked her tightly in place, not daring to part from her either. However upon feeling her embrace slacken his own mimicked hers, making note of the smile that was for him.
Twin tiers spreading into a delighted, boyish grin. Despite only a few words had been exchange both seemed to be ecstatic in each other's presence. As he leans back to get a better look at her he is glad that there are no big changes in her from the last meeting, it had been several months-- yet she looked happier. He was happy that during his absence nothing dire happened to her. Listening to her talk, he felt nostalgic once again before taken aback by the sudden glomp but allowing it nonetheless.
"I've been venturing, travelling. Felt a bit homesick, so I've returned to the place that felt the most home to me."
Quickly answering before reassessing the questions fired at him before answering once more. This time his attention more focused on the female rather than himself.
"I'm good, sorry 'bout my disappearance and not tellin' you 'bout it. 'nuff about me, tell me how are you?"

Character in general: makes some jumbled mess of noises because idjfkdfdsfsdf. Okay I honestly think Hikaru is the cutest thing to have ever existed. The way she is absolutely sweet and unwavering with patience that doesn’t falter, okay especially when paired with my bbys personality where he runs hot or cold like— how does she put up with him. I like how she has this innocence so to seem and warmth that’s natural. huehuehudsfsf. And I hope to see more sides of her and so on. ;v;How they play them: I love your OC and I always will. Overall Opinion: They are truly amazing, both mun and muse and I have a deep fondness for both of them IC and OOC heheuheue. They da greatest lemme tell you. u_u weeps.
It was that feeling that woke him up. Something disturbing that just sent chills down his spine. As he opened his eyes, everything was of a strange darker hue. He felt as if his body was slowly sinking and by instinct threw himself off the bed. That woke him up for sure.
He felt nauseated and decided to go out for some fresh air, thinking it would help. However, upon leaving the confines of his rented room, he saw that as if the city was that from a nightmare. There were coffins everywhere and he doubted that it was a good sign at all.

Ellis knew he shouldn't have had that last drink, but turning down alcohol is definitely not something he is known for. His head spun as he stumbled his way out of the pub entrance, hands gripping onto any object protruding from the buildings wall that could help him keep his balance. He has done this thousands of times before. Gone to the pub and got shit faced drunk, only to stumble with way home in the dark at two o'clock in the morning. One would think that he would know where he was going, right?
Wrong.
In a chorus of groans and muffled cursing, Ellis somehow managed to turn right instead of left, feet tripping over themselves as he fell into a darkened alleyway; head smashing against the ground with an almighty crack. He hissed through his teeth and swore out loud, a shaken hand hesitantly reaching up and pressing itself against his throbbing forehead, chucking at the feeling of his own blood against his fingers. "Fucking good one, Hunter..."
