Hellion could feel Coeden watching him, and didn't so much as flinch as he faced that ancient stare. Coeden might have been older, but didn't outrank him. Hellion was the youngest God in the God Pantheon and the council. He too with Seirye were created directly by and Elder God, not born from two Gods, which made them superior in some ways. Seirye used to be a part of the council too, but after Valendria got destroyed in the war, she had decided to step away.
It annoyed him how easily Seirye believed Coeden and followed his...teachings. Like he was the purest of them all, but Hellion knew that wasn't the case. He was the God of balance, and that meant he would always have a bit of darkness in him too.
And he could've sworn he saw a flicker of that darkness as he turned to Seirye and asked,
Hellion: "Dance with me?"
Seirye: "Now?"
Hellion: "You promised me two dances. I still haven't gotten that pleasure."
Seirye: "...Yes. I'll dance with you."
