Saikhan Bao wasn't currently in Republic City.

According to the records, if anyone were to be checking, Saikhan Bao had been offered and accepted transfer to the Dai Li in Ba Sing Se. He had left Republic city three weeks and three days prior, and he was no longer under the employ of the Republic City Police Department. His apartment was empty and all of his mail forwarded. For all intents and purposes, it was as if he had simply disappeared overnight. 

And officially? He had. 

The man currently sitting in a somewhat comfy chair in the heart of the Triple Threat Triad's headquarters wasn't a cop or a Bao or a Dai Li agent- he was Xiāo Khan, a former steel worker in one of the many factories in the city and newly initiated gang member.

Saikhan tapped a couple of fingers against his forearm absently as he waited outside the office of one Lightning Bolt Zolt- he appeared calm, he looked collected, and if anyone caught wind of the fact that he was nervous, they could likely just chalk it up to the fact that he was having a private meeting with the boss for the first time. Everyone was nervous the first time they entered the office of the Dragon Head.

Of course, this wasn't his first time meeting Zolt, but most of the other members wouldn't know that, and he wasn't about to go bragging about it.

His was a precarious position- his new boss had heard of his previous run ins with Zolt, and having thought that it was a good place to start with infilitrating the TTT's, had sent him in. Any other attempts to plant a mole had failed, and Khan knew that if he didn't play this right, he'd blow his cover, and...

Well.

He was sure that Zolt didn't take well to moles.

Khan glanced up at the sound of a door opening and then stood, brushing himself off as he did; he nodded stiffly at the guy who was leaving, someone he recognized only as the waterbender with ridiculous hair who'd given him a hard time at the door earlier.

He took a breath, steeling himself for what was to come, and then stepped forward to catch the door before it slammed shut and stepped into the doorway.

Holding in a weary sigh, Iroh made a show of sliding off his last sock as sensually as he could, laying on his front and curling back his leg at the knee to slip it off.

The sun set and with dusk arrived, the men and women of Triple Threat Triad assembled. They came in threes, wearing their colors and their finest coats.

When Zolt's custom Rose-and-Gold Sportscar pulled alongside the crowd, they split and formed two facing lines that lead from the purring car, through the wide open doors and straight to a large, circular table prepared for a celebratory banquet. Patterned red silk was draped over tables and scrunched lopsidedly along the ceiling as bunting. Amber wine-filled glasses arranged atop a large ice passionflower glowed warmly under a chandelier whose typical clear crystal settings had been swapped with a glittering rainbow array. Shady Shin stepped out and opened the driver-side door. They bowed at once.

In unison, they shouted, "Big Boss!"
