“Boys“ - Made this piece for my awesome friend Amy ! I drew her OCs. Since the boys were in baseball club, I thought about placing them in a club room but I realized messy classroom is more fun to draw ! I did a lot of quick hour doodles recently so wanted to take time and actually spent time on drawing. The line art took me 1 hr 17mins, 2 hrs 2 min for coloring. I aimed to finish in clean cut 1 hr & 2 hrs, but I overtime both times because I struggled little bit on color choices and object placements. For the colors, I chose orange color because I realized I use lot of blue for other works and wanted to make a something different feeling. But that thought took a while, so I’m planning to practice more similar drawing and get faster with decision making. Also as a result I thought I made the lines too thin and was overall not happy but I actually got a lot of compliments on this particular piece so I’m glad I tried new thing ! Yay!
